Jason Chapman had a great game in goal for St Austell and definitely had a hand in their win. Bodmin dominated the early stages but St Austell took the lead from the spot in the 24th minute and doubled their lead two minutes later. The homesters equalised from the spot in the 43rd minute and both teams had chances in the second half but Saints held on.

Chappers outstanding today in goal , great win for town , I hope miller has put his toys back in the pram , as the bloke certainly don't like losing , Bodmins season over as far as the league is concerned , even though they got a bigger budget than town

Great performance by Chappers, man of the match by a mile. Anybody know the attendance ? I counted 200 approx standing around the pitch and there must have been another 200 in the stand.

Thought the Referee and his Assistants also did an excellent job. Not an easy surface on which to keep up with play but this they certainly did. Well done guys.

Bodmin did well to pen St Austell in in the closing stages of the game today but St Austell held firm to defeat one of the leagues heavyweights. Not much in it today on a tough surface but St Austell's superior energy and fitness was certainly noticeable from the side line, they will need it looking at their fixture pile up!

Was walking behind the dugouts after the final whistle and it was lafferty who caused the problem. It's said about being graceful when you loose but also you must when you win the st Austell fans and management team have no respect for other sides and there arrogance is disgusting. My view was a draw would've been a fair result.

I was behind the dugout as well Mockey, I think you will find that Miller would not shake Lee Whetters hand after the game and Miller hurled a load of offensive words at Whetts and Laffs. That is what it was all about.

I am very proud of our boys because they did defend very well in the second half a great team performance!!! Carts was decent as always, Simmo and Chambers had a good game and Miller produced 2 top quality saves in the second half.

For me though Jason Chapman was MOM one of the best games he has had for the Lillywhites.

Big thanks to all the support we had and once again and to the Truro boys coming up to support us again!!!!

21 wins on the bounce now and a tricky christmas and new year conquered with wins over Parkway, Blazey and Bodmin

St Austell were arrogant even when the results weren't going their way, which, of course, was the ref's fault. They are much worse now mockey.

If arrogance is realising that we've actually got a decent squad with a genuine chance of winning the League (probably for the first time in over 40 years) then maybe you're right. But I think most supporters are actually far from arrogant but nervous wrecks during big games like yesterday and simply happy and proud that we're now able to come through games like Bodmin, Parkway, Folland in the vase with wins.

Well super obviously something must have happened in the past as kev was shaking everyone else's hand until wetts then lafferty got involved. I don't think rivalry and bad blood is a bad thing between top teams, I as a neutral enjoyed the intensity between the two top teams of the league. Reminded me of man United arsenal days

Thanks for your support. A tough game In which we were generally in control until the last 30 minutes rearguard action. Your support will be appreciated in the future especially at Dartford in the Vase v Greenwich. It would be great to emulate Truro and get to Wembley and have support from the rest of the County like yourselves did, unless we happen to play Bodmin !
