Season was over on weds Paul so not really a massive game is it .

BB4, buy yourself a Calendar, the season has a way to run yet. There is still much to be played for. Some teams could screw up and miss out on promotion, others could avoid or endure the drop. Several teams are a few wins/losses away from F.A. Cup/Vase qualification!
While I wish St. Austell the very best of luck in their F.A. Vase campaign, I deplore the arrogance of some of their, rather pathetic second rate fans/would be players!

Torpoint did not deserve to loose today. 1-0 up at half time and created three very good chances to increase their lead!!!! Bodmin had 2 chances second half and scored, even if they were scrappy.... on a side note the ref was an absolute disgrace for both sides, cant remember his name though. Hopefully someone can!!

Actually there's an awful lot to play for. We need to finish in the top 10 to have a chance of qualifying for next seasons F.A cup. Today was another awful away performance. We've only beat Bovey and Falmouth away in the league. We've lost every other away match. On current form were going to struggle to finish high enough to qualify but no point giving up.

Concerns are growing for the fate of several hundred St Austell supporters who have gone missing, presumably en route to last Saturday's Peninsula league match at Launceston. Their bandwagon, registration plate number AFC 1433, disappeared soon after the conclusion of the club's Vase encounter against Ascot. Nothing has been heard from the passengers since, other than a few badly misspelt tweets. Initial reports that wreckage had been found in Foxhole were quickly discounted when it was realised that the village always looks like that and just needs tidying up a bit.

A spokesperson from St Austell was quoted as saying that the phenomenon of supporters "appearing and disappearing" was not unusual of late, before going on to tell of the "real characters" he had met at the Ascot match. "One gentleman," he told me, "seemed a little confused and kept asking where he could put a tenner on the Queen's horse. But most seemed happy enough, especially once I had pointed out that we were the team wearing white." When pressed by me for his gut feeling, the spokesperson stated he really had no idea, but he was confident they would be located in time for the semi-final.

I'm not going to respond to the 'homer' report on the other site, the full details of the match including incriminating photos will be in the Newquay Voice on Wednesday.

I'm sure that Saltash, who were beaten 5-0 at Stoke with the same two officials who ruined the game on Sat, will know the score. They were on the wrong end of two dubious pens that day.

Must have been nice for Stoke to see a crowd for a change, outnumbered at home by fans of a club with only pride to play for.

Boring! Another comment from someone who wasn't at the ground and doesn't really understand that some officials can ruin a game.

I don't post reports on here due to pathetic comments, mainly from those who just like to knock Newquay. If you want the report and photographic evidence, buy the Newquay Voice or Saturdays programme.

Let's hope the match on Saturday v Bodmin is remembered for the football and not the official.

Yes, I've run the line in the past, not that it makes any difference, most fans know what's what. I played in or watched some 1,500 games, I know the laws of the game which is more than some on here and a minority of officials.

Due to the negative comments on this site, I rarely comment on games, even when we win. As for the raffle, even if we had the only ticket, we wouldn't have won. Stoke were shocking, Newquay awful and 2 of the 3 officials were even worse.
