  1. 5 different scorers last night-in a season where 70 goals scored from 15 games. Westy's 250th game in charge.
  2. Newquay reach The Quarter Finals without kicking a ball
  3. Falmouth v St.Dennis -not the most attractive of cup ties (Top v Bottom SWPL) so 220 is a fair gate Three days earlier 28 turned up to watch Wendron v St.Dennis which is a far cry from the opening day of the season when Wendron v Falmouth saw 380
  4. I hear this morning that The Isles of Scilly Steamship company have put in a request from the "levelling up fund" for three new ships which are near in need of replacing-The Scillonian and the Cargo vessel and the Inter Island boat.-COST £48 million-this could jeopardise the the pecking order of importance from the Government fund. Surely the Cornwall County Council could set up a football ground for Truro in their housing project but the thought of a Stadium to operate and sustain for 365 days a year is never going to be viable-Conference centre-Music festivals and local sports clubs paying big hire fees etc are not a regular desire for a rural County.
  5. Bit early for that Nige-The CCFA are probably scrutinising every name on the teamsheets looking for an irregularity lol -Falmouth have had a few eliminations in their history. But it will have to be soon as I think Round 2 is November 6th.
  6. Jack is the latst addition to The Father & Son playing for Falmouth First team
  7. I think everyone can work out 75 is better than 55 -billy. but overall achievement is a different ball game
  8. Falmouth Town played 55 Western League games without defeat (1974-76) A record at the time which was beaten by Tiverton Town 1993-95
  9. it could be a difficult season for Bolitho Park if there is a winter of inclement weather With two full leagues (SLP & SL1) to fufil -even Truro was called off in midweek for another home fixture to be rearranged.
  10. South Western League 1970-71 Falmouth Town P.34-W.31-D.3 (130-21) 2001-02 St.Blazey P.36-W.33-D.3 (120-25) Western League 1974-75 Falmouth Town P.40-W.31-D.9 (122-26) Over to CornishTeddyBoy for the Cornwall Combination League where Penryn Athletic dominated
  11. Brian Hodge RIP (Notes taken from the CSC Final programme 1991)
  12. Tats right Dave-Gary spent the Cup final at Treliske hospital Some memories for you Skinner
  13. I have just watched the Falmouth v Sticker highlights on Kernow Football You Tube and trying to decipher the visitors goalscorers it looked like no.11 (Derrick Lucas)and No.8 (Harry {Probyn)--Can some one confirm for the match details. Apparently I was told Sticker stormed the early second half and deservedly levelled the game with Falmouth rattled and it was the immediate substitution changes that restored their composur.
  14. 2021/22 SWPL Manager Andy Westgarth Played 12 Won 12 (11L 1C--7H 5A) Goals 52--10 This does not include the Void game v Porthleven (6-0) 1986-87 SWL Manager Dave Wadd Played 11 Won 11 (7L.4C.--6H.5A) Goals 37--4 1976-77 WL Manager Richard Gray Played 10 Won 10 (8L.2C.--4H.6A) Goals 30--5
  15. Good tribute Ian Yes Brian Hodge & Trevor Mewton locked horns for the C.Senior Cup final 1991
  16. But they have paid the penalty by being expelled from the competition by the Devon F A
  17. Probably The Cornish Pirates rugby who need Truro on board to convince the Council/Government that The Stadium is not just for rugby. Its going to be another nomadic season for Truro next season.

  19. Are Callington changing their personel/ image as I noted only one player (Luke Cloke) in the whole squad played from the notorious game just over four weeks ago (v Falmouth).
  20. Seen in the grandstand this afternoon a good replacement for this seasons top player Jack Webber who is back at University.
  21. Ed was stalwart at Falmouth from 2013 joining from Hayle. After making 146 appearances (9 goals) surprisingly left for Helston in 2017 just at the time of the Falmouth rejunevation
