Div 3

St Just 2s 0-7 Praze

starting with a 3-5-2 formation, praze started off slow and found themselves 1-0 up 15 minutes in. St just could have gotten back into the game with quick counter attacks, and had a shout for a penalty but was turned down because of a great tackle from the Praze CB. Another goal from some quick moves saw praze go into the break 2-0 up. Just as the second half started the heavens opened and turned the first 20 mins of it with little chances. The remainder was one way and praze scored a further 5 to kill the game and move them joint top of the league, with only a two goal difference worse off. The race for the title is hotting up, with rosudgeon losing today, leaving them picking up the rear. Onto a tough one next week against st Erme.

Goalscorers were Alex zam x3, harry batt x2 Alex (Jonny)X1 and Karl Sanderson x1

Who was the centre half who made the great tackle Arsene? Good to see you and Praze doing well again.

St day thirds 0 Falmouth dc 2

game started of well for both sides with both teams looking to create chances and battle well, a definite penalty shout us (st day) which was some how not given from the ref! About 5 minutes later  a Falmouth dc player took to the ground in quite possibility the slowest motion I’ve seen in the st day penalty area and a penalty was given which had definitely raised a few eye brows! 1-0 to Falmouth dc! A few reckless tackles started to come in from both sides and don’t think the ref quite got control of that which then led to an absolute horrific tackle by a Falmouth dc player on our winger who had to have an ambulance called for him! A challenge from behind off the floor with absolutely no intention for the ball, the ref’s words were “ it was a really bad tackle but only warrants a yellow” 🤔 clearly that got a few people’s blood boiling and the player that made the challenge had disappeared off home!! After this I don’t believe we really got into the game and I think what could of been a good game turned into a game to forget due to very poor decisions and no control!!
