  1. Ludgvan firsts unable to raise a side and the seconds get tanked 17-0 away. Wheels falling off very quickly again?
  2. Div 1 Praze 3-1 St Day 3rds A scrappy game. Majority of the home side hungover from a Friday night birthday party and missing a fair few regular starters. St Day also missing a few I believe. Thanks to David James who kindly offered to referee, he was fair. Praze scorers were Harry Batt, Tom Stone and Adam Rosevear. 5 wins from 5. Great start to the season from the canaries.
  3. Praze v st day 3rds is on after a pitch inspection this morning. Pitch has held out despite the rain 💪
  4. Agreed with your all your comments. You make yourself known by putting in a strong tackle but that’s as far as I would go. Anything more then it’s out or order. If at any point I felt like I want to intentionally hurt someone through anger on a football pitch I personally ask to get subbed. It has never and will never will be in my thoughts. I represent a team and I do it in good fashion. I hope there’s many out there that feel the same
  5. Come find out pal, we’re at home next week 👍👍👍 I’m a lovely bloke really
  6. Because they had about 15-20 chances that’s why haha
  7. Hopefully Scott is alright.. yep right on Danny, but before that I pretty sure he was grabbed by the neck (or from what I was told) there’s a few wind up merchants in your squad, the captain being the biggest one! He put in a few hard unnecessary tackles in the game. We are happy defensively today as we kept you out, just wished we got the result but it wasn’t to be. Bet you’re disappointed not to get more goals? Only scoring one against a team two leagues below is a bit embarrassing 😂😂
  8. PS Cup Illogan 2nds 1-0 Praze With two leagues difference between the two sides, it didn’t seem that way as this thrilling cup tie was a good one to be enjoyed from both player and spectator point of view. illogans constant pressure for the whole game, they did not find the back of the net until ten minutes from the end from Tom Butt, after his teammate from centre midfield (number 8 ) ran through three players. Praze defended like their lives depended on it and kept out the onslaught that faced for the majority of the game. They did however come close on several occasions, from Barrie John wyatt hitting the post from 30 yards out, Danny Ford hitting the bar from a free kick and Nathan rathbone denied by a good save by the home keeper. Illogan were left frustrated at times as Praze stood firm. At 88 on the clock, a ball was played through high for Barrie John, but the keeper claimed the ball first, causing a collision between both players. It was a controversial 50-50, personally I think the praze player couldn’t get out the way and thought the ball was to be won, but some people didn’t see it that way. Danny ford saw red late on as there was a spat which resulted in the player being sent off because he was naughty. Personally the victim should have been shown the red too as he grabbed Danny previously which the ref failed to see. All in all Praze were gutted not to get a result from the game. Man of the match by far was the praze keeper roachy, made a string of saves to keep the score level.
  9. Div 1 Praze 6-0 Troon reserves Very wet. Both teams agreeing to call it time with 7/8 minutes to go. Goal from Danny Ford (on fire) x4 Liam Lyth x1 Pip x1
  10. Division 1 Praze 7-2 Frogpool 2nds Cant remember every goal as it was a high scoring game. What I do know is that the first half was a very competitive affair. Praze went 2-1 ahead at the break but it could have gone either way. Second half and praze found their gears and punished the away side. Some great plays and pressure towards the reds and the canaries scored an extra 5, with frogpool grabbing a second ten minutes from time. Goal of the day from James Nicholls, came off from playing right back and went up front and curled one outside of the right boot from left wing into the far corner. Its a shame to see that frogpool didn’t have half the team in which we played in the semi final last season. Shame for the club but I hope they can continue to get some good results in the forthcoming fixtures. Nigel Jewell is a great referee, and definitely had a good game today.. showed his class and experience and let the game flow in the best way he could. Praze goalscorers were : Danny Ford (on fire) x4 James Nicholls x1 Barrie-John wyatt x1 Tom Stone x1
  11. Div 1 wendron 4ths 1-8 praze a much changed wendron side from last season.. very young but also the work rate was very good. First half was slow, both teams struggling to find rhythm and all in all a half to forget, despite three goals (one very good 30 yard chip from the wendron striker) praze went into the break 2-1 ahead. Second half was completely different, as praze turned on the magic and energy. Ball was moved about more, chances were created and from a spectator point of view a great half to watch. a further 6 were added to the praze scoresheet with no reply from the home side. All one way traffic and may have been double figures if it weren’t for the wendron goalkeeper pulling off some great saves! Thank you to the injured wendron player stepping in to ref the game and respect to him for offering a drinks break half way through the second half. Scorers were Danny Ford x3 Harry Batt x2 Ash Bingham x1 Jamie Hayton x1 1 Own goal Not sure the name of the wendron goal scorer. Very quick and probably should be playing in the 3rds perhaps?
  12. Div 1 St Agnes 2-3 Praze A talks of two halves. Praze dominant the entire 45 minutes, but the second fell short of the mark and in spells were outplayed by a patient Aggie team. All three of praze’s goals coming from the first half, with two defensive errors. The first being a long kick from the away keeper, pounced on by Danny ford from a poor clearance. The second being a miskick, played on by Sam Trevena and again Danny Ford scoring again. Tom Stone got the third from a neat through ball from Danny Ford, who had a very good first half. St Agnes got themselves back into the game with a great header at the back post from Oakley Rogers and Oakley got his second shortly after. Praze held on for their first three points of the season. Paul Minns had a great game in the middle and the pitch surprisingly was very nice to play on. Good work from Chris Wells and the team. Onto next week.
