I wouldn't have thought so, I played in 2 senior Cup games away at Satlash for 2 different teams, they had double figures in both games but can't remember the scorelines 😂

I remember playing for Mullion v Tideford in the early 90s and winning 16-0 in the senior cup

A good game to watch well reffed, If it wasn’t for the Lanreath keeper the score would’ve been bigger definitely MOTM.

Foxhole 1 (Probert 33) Perranwell 2 (Rowberry 22, Rose 83)

Saturday 12th September 2020

After another tremendous display, Foxhole were unlucky to bow out of the Senior Cup against St Piran opposition who scraped through thanks to Rose's late header. With the match seemingly heading for extra time, Rose nodded home from close range past a helpless Rundle, who had performed heroically to keep his side in the tie. This was tough on the home team, who had again resisted with tenacity. Manning may have scored within moments of kick off, his effort cannoning off the keeper's legs, before Perranwell began to dominate possession, but their reliance on forty-yard passes from central areas for their young and speedy strikers to chase meant their attacks habitually petered out. Balls from wide areas are typically harder to defend and so it proved today, when Rowberry found the net with a glancing header from Miles' cross. 

It was only a week ago that losing a goal prompted an embarrassing capitulation but Foxhole are seemingly now far more resilient already and soon grabbed an equaliser when club legend Andrews showed customary desire to hold off numerous challenges to feed the returning Probert, who calmly lobbed the onrushing keeper. The second half saw Perranwell again on the front foot, although Kerrigan almost notched the game's third goal when finding himself clean through but the chance went begging, which was a shame as it would have given the Foxes the spark they needed as they began to tire in the Goverseth sunshine. Instead, the visitors at last found their shooting boots only to be denied by the woodwork and the brilliance of Rundle, incredibly the fifth different keeper in Foxhole's last four matches, before Rose's winner scuppered dreams of an Easter Monday outing.

Sitting here with my Saturday night shandy not quite sure where to start!? Still can’t decide whether it was great attacking play or poor defending but what I do know Is that these two sets of lads produced a cracking game of football to watch in 22c degree heat! It was nice to get there on time and it not be pissing down with rain so decided to get the notepad out! Big mistake! Nearly ran out of ink after 2 hours of this!! Penryn still missing a few big players but Popey looked to have juggled the team into a strong looking starting line up and the Saints were without a couple of their top players but once again Joff put out a strong looking 11. The hosts started on the front foot and it wasn’t long before the electric Reevey was smashing a shot off the crossbar before getting a deserved goal a minute later with a similar strike from 15 yards which this time dipped under the bar. Ten minutes later a superb cut back from Jake Shaw saw Rappo Jnr have his snap shot well turned around the post by Ryan Barnes(not to be confused with Falmouths keeper!!) About a foot shorter! Shaw who has a great spring for a shorter player then headed an effort onto the bar 3 minutes later. Just as I said to the wife we need to get the 2nd goal because they will have a spell in a minute, James Daniel drove a shot in from the edge of the area which deflected off the blocking Bradley Leivers and just out of Andy Butchers reach for the equaliser. The Saints were now certainly having that “spell” and big centre half and skipper Luke Hart even nutmegged a midfielder running out of defence with the ball and said “stick that in your report Rappo!! 😂 The 29th minute saw JD in space on the right of the area and he hit another clinical finish into the far corner to turn the game completely on its head. Penryn had a good response and Rapsey got down the right and crossed to the far post but Lewis Pellow headed the wrong side of the post. The speedy Reeve broke clear and Barnes came rushing outside his area and collided/fouled him and after 7 minutes of treatment to both players George came up with a sensible yellow card for Barnes who had to leave the field injured. On came manager Joff Mallaber and his first job was to parry away the resulting free kick from the classy Nick Boase. In the 52nd minute of the first half Pellow slipped a pass inside to Rapsey but his low finish was superbly tipped past the far post by the inspired Joffy in goal.
The second half was only 2 minutes old when a nasty clash of heads between Hart and Rapsey saw them both laid out on the turf, not a great sight particularly for a parent!! Fortunately after another 4 minute injury stoppage on George’s watch Luke was ok to carry on but that was the end of Rappo Jnrs day with concussion, said he just felt a smack and then JD helping him out a few minutes later. Well done JD by the way 👏🏼 (remember scoring a diving header at Saltash to make it 2-2 with 10 mins to go and heading the post same time! Next thing I was sitting in the dressing room 10 minutes later being told we lost 4-2!!) 😳🙄 Joff tipped another couple of long range efforts over before George spotted a handball in the box and Reevey equalised from the spot. On the hour a low cross from the right by Reggie May saw substitute Chris Shackley shoot home at the near post and 5 minutes later Shackers scored an almost identical goal proving when you’re a natural goalscorer you can do it at any level. This prompted a response from the Saints and they started to take control pulling a goal back to 4-3 with 20 to go with a clever finish from Tom Langford with a falling backwards volley into the corner of the net. Penryn weathered the mini storm and Reevey broke the offside trap in the 83rd minute and scored with a sublime chip over a Joffy to what I thought wrap up the tie. How wrong I was!! Back came the Saints and JD completed a fine hat-trick shooting across Butch in off the far post. It was the 96th minute when the visitors lumped a ball into the home area and with 10 players including Joffy up there somehow a shot came off a home hand and Tom Hogarth was cool as you like sending Butch the wrong way from the spot to make it 5-5 for the shell shocked crowd!! Hogie a great bloke to have in your team by the way 👍

Extra time never quite lived up to the actual 90 as both sets of players were obviously knackered in the heat and fast paced game. The 104th minute saw a good cross shot from Jake Williams well held by Butch and 7 minutes from time a free kick into the box saw it come back off a Penryn far post before being scrambled away. George told Hogie if his legs were as fast as his lips he would be lightning after he conceded a free kick in the corner last minute. George as good as ever talking to the players non stop, great refereeing. Pellows inswinger just missed the far top corner and that was it — penalties!!!

Daniel  (Butch dived to left to beat away)  Penryn win 1-3 on penalties

Butch showed his class in the shoot out saving 3 out of 4 Saints penalties with Penryn scoring all 3 of theirs. Must admit after those two late goals from the Saints I thought it might not be Penryns day!! Well played both teams for a great afternoons entertainment. Neither team have had their customary good start to the season but I wouldn’t mind betting they’ll both be in the top 5 by the end of the season. On another note stood behind St.Day linesman Aidy 2nd half and 2nd half of ET and he was spot on with every decision, brilliant performance!! How a club Lino should be 👌👏🏼👍 Cheers gents off to have another shandy after this!!! 🙄

Thank you. Yes the keeper made some fantastic saves today. Both teams played great and lanreath defended solid for so long. Well done to st mawgan ended too strong for lanreath but a good game.

It's got to be one of the higher ones for sure, however not the record as I know of two 16-0 results in recent times.

Torpoint beat Marazion 16-0 back in season 1993/94 (Third Round)

and

Mullion beat Tideford with the same 16-0 scoreline a couple seasons earlier in 1988-89 (Second Round)
