Disagree. It would have been a simple tap in. Keeper no where near the ball.

DJ clean through, rounds the keeper who takes his legs, no card and DJ blasts the pen over the bar. Gk gets away with murder. Would probably have spoilt what turned out to be a very interesting contest but that takes cheating to a whole new level. Eddy was excellent, his first goal was much better than the second, bring the ball down from midair and striking it sublimely. Good entertainment on a difficult surface. If jordan pickford didn't get sent off for the tackle on Van Dyk ,then what hope is there at this level ? Bobjfh
As an aside - I just looked at a Twitter feed of the ‘build up’ to the Bodmin game and there must have been 20 max watching?? As two of the ‘biggest’ clubs playing - someone who was there, please tell me there were more watching??
baldy
Bodmin v Helston ... 142 A lot more than usual in the seats as weather was awful. Decent enough but there were only the 2 games to choose from.

From the description given on here (rarely 100% accurate 🤣) it should have been a yellow card. As the keeper has made an attempt to play the ball it can’t be a red card. Footy follower
Having watched the video highlights that was a clear sending off.... And I'm not a fan of sending someone off for a genuine attempt where the player is too quick or skilful..... But that was a deliberate fould stopping jennings from tapping the ball home. Strange that there wasn't even a yellow for it

A good 50-50 from both players. We appealed for a penalty like you do but it would have been harsh.

When the ref blew I did think it might have been for a pen, but soon realised he had given a free-kick to Sam! Could have gone either way and so not so sure Sam “got away with it”!
