Mike Odgers
Two milestones approaching at the Falmouth v Street game-Tough game in prospect as The Cobblers have not conceded in 6 L.Games. Luke Brabyn on 99 club goals and Tom Annear to make his 200th First team appearance Two goals Tom (at Welton) must be a contender for player of the year- Incredible historical Western L record for Falmouth v Welton Rovers P18-W15-D3, F45-A12 winning all 9 games at West Clewes. Mike Odgers
Good luck to Saltash and promoting the growth of Cornish clubs in the F A Pyramid. It will be sorry from Falmouth's point of view being anotherCornish club less in the Western League but on the other hand it should see a bumper Christmas and Easter fixtures with local rivals Helston. Sam Hughes after 470 appearances and 305 goals over 14 seasons is hanging up his boots. Faz is moving away with work after 393 appearances 81 goals and 10 seasons. And as I’ve said… there will possibly be others- as commitment at Southern puts a bigger strain on home life and work. Way Of The Park
No mention at all regarding the outcome of the Bristol MF v Saltash play off match. Desperately sad for The Ashes to suffer defeat in a match where the odds did seem stacked against them. Especially as it took the gloss off a successful, and incident packed season (both on and off the pitch). Hope they can keep the nucleus of this squad together and go again next time. sportsman10
I do worry for Saltash next season with big departures in huges and farrant. Also Duffy and barker being looked at by parkway and blazey looking to bring a few in be interesting summer

Especially considering that it was possibly the biggest match in Saltash's history.
L.Gibbons
Ashton & Backwell 4-0 Torpoint AFC Sure we'll get the usual report from @The Torpoint Massive but humbling last day of the season. A catch up of injuries and the end of season fatigue with our season extended by a week. A great win for A&B with their last game in the League as they announced their withdrawal from the Western League. I was seriously impressed by their striker, Kiton Jaiyeoba, who caused problems all afternoon. All in all, a massive run to end the season for us and a successful first season in the League. No doubt Dean and Ryan are already planning for next season.
