Half time 7-0. 4 penalties, 3 to Nanpean (one of them missed) The Nanpean keeper scored the ninth from the spot in the 51st minute and with eight minutes left he stupidly raised his hands to a visiting forward and was rightly sent off. After two minutes of the home side moaning at the referee, Boscastle scored their second. The score pattern for those who like to pore over hammerings: 1-0 2m, 2-0 6m (pen), 3-0 6m. Missed penalty 12m 4-0 12m, 5-0 23m, 6-0 32m, 7-0 41m 8-0 49m, 9-0 51m (pen), 10-0 53m, 11-0 61m 11-1 73m, 12-1 74m, 13-1 79m Nanpean keeper sent off 82m 13-2 84m (pen), 14-2 86m. Full credit to Boscastle who kept their heads and attempted to play. They did have a player sin binned though although it wasn't a bad game. Paul Collings Posted December 8, 2018 Report Share Posted December 8, 2018 An afternoon of two halves for me today. Goverseth to see a very strong and well organised Foxhole dominate the first half over Lostwithiel and go into the break 5 - 0 up. It looks to me as if the Stars rely on a solid squad performance to get their results and not on a couple of 'stars' as so many teams do. Then it was a short trip to Victoria Bottoms for a half time cuppa (and post match pint)., Nanpean started the second half 7 - 0 up against Boscastle Reserves and were totally dominant. Rubber Duck Posted December 8, 2018 Report Share Posted December 8, 2018 SNE 5 Boscastle 3 Powell x 3, London x 2 Wind blowing straight down the pitch made it a difficult game but SNE handled the conditions the better despite playing against the wind for the last 25mins with 10 men after our Centre Half was sent off for calling one of the Boscastle players “fat boy”. davegrose Posted December 8, 2018 Report Share Posted December 8, 2018 GSM 2 v st Dennis 4 Very windy but we came away with a win absolutely delighted with that as it's been a hard start n we haven't had the best of results to date,good luck to GSM for the rest of the season Our goals were from rob astin,coady,kez Ralph n Nath Mcgall hopefully take this on to next week ......
