leedsunited
The 'big overweight guy' your referring to Keith scores around 30 goals a season! st.Austell got to be the team to beat. Torpoint another well run football club struggling around the bottom
Jeff's Telling
No doubt AFC St Austell are a very good team - the test for them will be playing away to teams likely to finish in the top half of the table - only played at Ivybridge so far I think

Torpoint another well run football club struggling around the bottom Hi leedsunited - you don't surprise me regarding the 'big overweight guy'. Bobmin are well organised and use, amongst other attacking methods, their wingers. High balls across aimed at this big guy (sorry don't know his name) are a good bet - his height and body strength make him hard to defend against. Sadly on Tuesday he chose to feign being fouled too many times and shouted at the ref accordingly. But, he can turn a defender and thereby is dangerous. Adam Carter - Quality, could walk in any team!!
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
Waddle into any team, saw him play against Falmouth, big fella who can score goals.
Mike Odgers
Waddle!-brings memories of Andy Waddell (goal ace) second only to Tony Kellow for goals per game ratio at Falmouth
mockey jackson
Not a very mobile striker like a few others have said but sure knows where the net is. Does anyone no who has scored the most goals in since peninsula began would imagine it would be out of him Mike body and levi landricome
Barters
Not sure what he is called but there is a striker at Witheridge who has scored a load and all for Witheridge I think he was one if the first to get a hundred and the first to do it with the same team
V J
Sam Hughes is right up there and I think the Withy player you're thinking of is Steve Ebdy. Andy Sargent will be also up there.

BIG AL
I cannot understand the Falmouth v Newquay game being abandoned because of floodlight failure in this day and age! Surely technology is in place to easily locate the fault. Also, the referee was a bit hasty and uncooperative by all accounts in calling time on the match from what I am told. TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
Don't be daft Al, even if you find the fault it doesn't mean you can fix it there and then. That's assuming of course there's an electrician there, and he has his kit. Stupid, the lights failed.....end of.
Barters
Have to agree with the olderigetthebetteriwas - the other morning four of us checked the lamps at The Mill - two in a cherry picker - one lamp was stripped back and totally rebuilt and it turned out to be a fault with a board that you need to order and takes time to arrive
teflon123
St Austell, Parkway, Bodmin & Ivybridge will be the top 4 with maybe Saltash challenging. Ivybridge have certainly set the pace and have surely had two of the best results this season in beating St Austell and smashing Bodmin but just feel they lack strength in depth and if there front two dont feature, they could suffer. StAustell look the best bet as the starting 11 they field most weeks is up there with the best i have seen in recent years.
mockey jackson
I'm surprised sam Hughes is not in there but mark gusterson is, fair play to him. Some top strikers in that list
Rayvon
It has come to light that Newquay had only paid half of there electricity bill. It surprised me though the game had been abandoned after all it wasn't that long ago that Nemesis was on about all the players at Mount Wise Stadium that were shining lights. Some top strikers in that listSorry I missed Sam Hughes wh was on 150 goalsUpdated today "Golden Boot" 2014/15 on the SW Peninsula forum which means Mark Goldsworthy (Helston) has passed the 150 mark. These goals are only from SWP League games and League cup
NORTH DEVON DWELLER
Steve Ebdy signed for Witheridge in 2007 for the inaugural SWPL Premier Division season and scored 143 League & League Cup goals during his seven year spell at Edge Down Park before retiring at the end of last season. Mike Odgers
Sorry Paul I do not have the definitive list of SWL goalscorers .I have some SWL handbooks(missing 2004-06) which show the leading scorers each season.I have lost track of where you are playing at the moment-Is it Bideford?Talking of keepers did I see Andy Meeds back in goal at Tavistock, try and find out his overall appearance record I am sure he kept a tally the last time I saw him. Barters
Would have thought Ryan is a lot younger than the other players listed and probably has played at least two or three seasons less than the others
