Plymouth Parkway 1 Falmouth 0.

A slightly changed side today from the defeat at Bovey in midweek. Parkway had many good chances to win this by a much bigger score , but did not have their scoring boots on today. An improved performance on Wednesdays nightmare , but they will have to improve if they want to get the second spot at the end of the season. Not sure why, but the Parkway confidence is low. We have had some great results this season and played some good football. Worthy of the win today , so well done lads.

My man of the match was Chris Clarke ( probably his best performance in a Parkway shirt ).

I was impressed by the attitude of the Falmouth bench , as they were very positive and supportive of their team. Falmouth never gave up and fought hard .

Penzance and Falmouth both lose again...Bodmin win again..nothing changes in cornish football for another weekend!! Two of Cornwalls biggest clubs in the dire straights that they're in is a great shame. Both looking to next season already maybe along with Liskeard?? Good win for Saltash today against a youthful Liverton side.

Torpoint Athletic 12-1 Penzance Att: 91 (Official)

Torpoint opened the scoring in the 8th minute when Lewis Kershaw scored a curled shot from 15 yards. Four minutes later Kershaw shot home a Jimmy Alexander free kick.

A Liam Thormton corner in 32nd minute put in Josh Fenwick to head home from close range. Luke Avis-Riordan runs on to the area to shot home from 15 yards. Shane White heads home from 6 yards in the 41st minute. Kershaw is the score sheet again as he taps home from 5 yards in the 44th minute. Just before the break Kershawv nods home the seventh goal from close range.

Kershaw gets his 5th in the 54th minute when he volleyed home from 10 yards after being put in by Shane White. On the hour Darren Hicks gets his first of the afternoon after slotting home a penalty, after sub Tom Payne being brought down in the area. 14 minutes later Dave Smith scored his first goal for his new club after heading home a Hicks free kick.

On the 83rd minute Darren Hicks side footed from 10 yards after being but in by Avis-Riordan.

The Magpies got a goal back on the 86th minute when Chris Bullock shoot home from 10 yards after doing two defenders.

Torpoint made it 12, when Hicks shoots home from 10 yards and to complete the rout.

Fair play to Penzance they never gave up and the played the game in the right spirit, which is rearlly seen in Peninsula Football these days. They stayed for a beer after the match and were a credit to their club.

Say it like you see it i was always told. Thought Falmouth was unlucky today and if they put their chances away the game could of been over but goals win games and thats what happens. Cant take it away from Parkway they did grind out a result today and with big players missing it was always going to be hard but how many teams that happens to. Big 3points i think 2day.

well big al tell it as you think!! I would personally say that to comment on next season already is crazy, but as it stands i suppose the league table doesnt lie and its a results game.. Bottom four starting to form a mini league amonst themselves with the likes of torpoint and bovey pulling away. However with most teams having 10 or so games left to go anything could happen and to write teams off already with 30 points up for grabs maybe a little harsh?

Keep the black and amber faith I say! When you have the likes of Jeffers, Dan Rich, Webby, Whippy, Popey and Kels in there battling as if it were a case of life or death you feel confident that local lads with grit, determination and ability will work hard for youevery week. Any manager and club would be proud to have them.
