 Percy stephens cup

Frogpool 0 vs 5 Falmouth United

Great result for the lads playing a side in the league above. Very close first half but a swift goal in the second half to go 2 up gave the boys some confidence. Some fantastic goals as well.

Goals from

Hayden Webber

Lewis Preston

Archie beconsall

Benji wills mack

Mike rollason

Only disappointing thing is only one going through from a group of 5. Losing away to st keverne 2-1 has knocked us out even though we have been so dominate in the other two games we played. Group stages especially where it's only one leg away or home should be top two.

St keverne on 10

Falmouth United 9

Redruth 1

Rosudgeon 0

Frogpool 0

All the bottom 3 have nothing to play for now so why travel mid week to meaningless games. Two going through would gave more competition. Hopefully next season as a group stage is a great way of having more games against different opposition though.

Dunn Cup

Semi Final

Ludgvan 2-3 Stithians

Lovely day for it down at Ludgvan,. We Stithians started brightly and got a penalty after 15 minutes unfortunately Howard Vague put it over the bar. Ludgvan then came back into the game with a dominating two minutes and got two quick goals.  On the 40th minute a ball through by Treve Bale was latched on by Michel Moskal to make it 2-1.  Ludgvan could have extended the lead just before half time but the one on one was saved.  2-1 HT

Second half

Second half started very evenly with Ludgvan hitting the bar with a cracking strike. Ludgvan then found themselves down to 10 for 10 minutes due to a sin bin.  Stithians failed to capitalise on this. Then in the 72nd minute Stithians equalised when Moskal closed down the keeper to block the kick and the ball lopped over the keeper and Moskal beat him to it to tap in for 2-2.   Then in the 82nd minute Howard Vague made up for his penalty miss with a 25 yarder top bins past the keeper.  Ludgvan tried to get the equaliser but we defended well to get the win.

Very well Reffed by Neil Stephens. All the best to Ludgvan for rest of season.

It's been a long hard season for us struggling to get a team out at times but we now have something to look forward to in a cup final.

No storm game so a few of us went to draceana to watch helston raiders v st just

winner takes all game that didn’t disappoint

raiders lost 5-4

Game had everything. Penalties, dodgy goals from goal keeping errors , great goals and a very contentious equaliser for raiders that was ruled offside by the ‘cheating’ linesman (they are always cheats when it goes against you eh?) which sparked a few ugly scenes at the end.

The young ref handled everything brilliantly including the bully boy tactics from players from both teams.

if penryn win both their games in hand then they go up so today was especially hard to take for raiders who would have gone up with a win

Totally agree with your post mate,i said all this even before a ball was kicked, really bizarre format and not surprised that teams have pulled out from there groups and forfitted games with nothing to play for.
