  1. To be perfectly honest I didn't handle that defeat very well either. We are all struggling with our current form. I'm supposed to lead by example and often make rash decisions especially with how I handle things at the moment. Which is disappointing and the view it's making the club look bad is something I need to sort out quickly. But the club as whole shouldn't have to be dragged through the mud because of my frustrations or some of my players lashing out. Players lose their tempers and if they do something like throw a punch or stamp on someone then they deserves what ever punishment
  2. As the manger of frogpool 1st team im very disappointed by some of the actions of my players today. The lad who kick out or stamped got a straight red and deserved it there was no need. But he is 16 and its first time in adult football he was in tears and hopefully he will learn from it. Today became an embarrassment the way we played was aweful, conseeding 3 goals in under 5 mins was a joke. I have no excuse for how they played. Stupid errors and frustrations for a terrible start to the season I think are starting to boil over. Which is disappointing. It was a decent game apart fr
  3. Im on the look out for a reliable center half to finish off my division one side. I'm the manager of frogpool first team and currently only have 1 out and out CB and he is 17 years old a fantastic player with plenty of energy but we could do with an experienced head to organise and lead the line. We have a good bunch of lads with a relaxed atmosphere. If anyone is looking for more game time or looking to drop down to a junior side we would like to hear from you. You can either find me on facebook Search Michael rollason (profile pic is me at frogpool) Or text me on 0736
  4. Very short notice I know but after being let down by some players preseason we have found our selves a little short on Centre backs and left backs. if anyone would like to step up to the newly named championship (cheesy) or found your self in a team with to much competition then we could be the team for you. Even if you play senior standard and fancy helping out a junior side on occasion that would be a great help. but ideally looking for a permanent solution. please get in touch on Facebook search for Mike rollason I'm in a frogpool kit on my profile or text me on 073683

  7. div 3 Penzance reserves vs Perranwell reserves. one of the best pitches we will play on this season. some very good individuals if they gelled more as squad Penzance would have a fantastic side. good competitive game but no over the top challenges.. glad to come away with the three points. Perranwell battled hard and worked hard for each other. at half time we spoke about dealing with the wind and we stuck to the plan even when up against some long spells with out the ball. goal scorers for Perranwell. Owen ford 1 kian Rowland 2 mike rollason 2 great food after the game and all
  8. PSC 1st round thank you to madron for getting the game played with a volunteer ref. on a very windy pitch down madron. we opted to go against the wind first half and ended up 2 goals down even after multiple shots on goal. second half we had the wind advantage and scoring with in the first 10 seconds of the half started the come back. final score 2-6 to Perranwell reserves goals from Matt rose 2, matt size 1, mike rollason 1, Scotty Harris 1, Jim 1.. madron's keeper had plenty to do and pulled off some unbelievable saves. he was class. best of luck to madron in the league a go

  13. Frogpool 1st team fixture secretary hasnt received confirmation from mullion that the game is going ahead on saturday. Any chance some one from mullion can get in touch. Thank you
  14. division 2 mabe 2 vs Frogpool 0 excellent game to be apart of today. mabe have a quality team in depth and played well on a large pitch. Penryn 3g was fun to play on, not so much on the skin. mabe deserved the 2 goals maybe could of had a couple more but didn't do so well in front of goal. Frogpool set up defensive but played well in the middle. Frogpool worked hard but didn't have to many chances. good luck to mabe and for a good test. if Frogpool play like that every week we will be near the top.
