  1. If you visit again Barry, inside the big green gates to the left is a toilet block for men and women. No need to leave the ground at all. Glad you enjoyed your afternoon though.
  2. Well done St Day. Good to see them making the step up. Great club and a great addition to the SWPL next season.
  3. Congratulations to St Austell. Look forward to some good local derbies again next season especially on Boxing day.
  4. Millbrook 0v2 St Blazey. Att.45 H.C Just a second away win of the season for St Blazey in the Western league. Millbrook no push overs and St Blazey had to play well to beat them. Luke Cloke gave St Blazey the lead at the break. In the second half St Blazey missed a penalty when George Newton had been pushed over in the box. Aaron Dileys penalty hasn't yet landed!! Clokey bundled home a second and St Blazey could have had more but two was enough to see them climb to 11th with three games to play. Next up, Saltash at home on Wednesday. Despite Millbrooks results on the pitch, their hospitality, the clubhouse bar, match day food etc was top notch. 👌 Impressed. Thankyou from St Blazey AFC.
  5. From a personal point of view, I wouldn't mind if Barnstaple won the play offs. Falmouth home and away is always worth a watch and guaranteed two good crowds. Clevedon and Bridgwater are easy trips using the M5. Barnstaple on the other hand is a long old trip. Not miles wise, but there isn't a decent road there and it takes forever.
  6. Well done to Millbrook for not giving up. No one expected them to be here in April still playing. Could have been easy to give up. But they will see the season out and despite it being a huge struggle, they've won two games and completed every fixture. 👏
  7. Won't be anything to exciting to read if he writes up a report on that. ☹️
  8. The fact there's no match report here yet from D.M must mean he's still typing!! Foxhole 4v4 St Minver. Foxhole 0v4 down at one point in the game. 👏
  9. St Blazey v Welton Rovers. OFF Pitch just waterlogged. With the fact Welton were bringing a coach there was no point waiting to make a decision tomorrow. The pitch isn't going to recover even if it stayed dry. And it's still raining here anyway. The pitch itself was lush and green 2 months ago. Its now very yellow looking in places were the grass has sat in water for so long. The pitch machinery has only been on the pitch twice in over 6 weeks!! By now we should be on it at least twice a week, more if there's more mid week football with cup semi finals etc. With the reserves due to play at home on Tuesday and a semi final on Wednesday night, we are desperate for some dry weather now.
  10. Amazed to get the game on tonight. Puddles and lying water this morning. Finally a day of dry weather with the wind made it playable. Not looking brilliant but a game played at least.
  11. So frustrating today. At 9am the pitch was ready to go. By 11am we had puddles everywhere. On Tuesday we host St Dominick v Mousehole. Good Friday we welcome Saltash to Blaise Park.
  12. St Blazey Res 0v0 Foxhole. Att.162 A good crowd for tonight's top of the table clash which was declared on after a late inspection. Still all to play for at the top of the league.
