(1) 1 Torpoint Athletic (1) 2 Att: 87 Goal Tally: 273 Goal Average per match: 4.01 Food: Cheeseburger & Chips 7/10 Programme: £1 7/10 TORPOINT GET LOCAL BRAGGING RIGHTS OVER LOCAL RIVALS! After losing in the Cornwall Senior Cup Semi Final 3-1 and drawing 1-1 at home on Good Friday, Torpoint took all three points with a great second half performance. Torpoint took the lead through Jon McCreery in 31st Minute when he slot home under keeper Ryan Rickard. Ryan Richards levelled the score four minutes before half with a simple tap in from close range. The second half was only two minutes old when striker Connor Rush headed home from a pinpoint cross, this goal turned out to be the winner as the visitors held on to lead with ease to claim a notable victory and climb two places in the league. Current Highest ranking teams in Cornwall (based on league and position ) are Truro City, Falmouth, Bodmin, and saltash fourth . Dont you just love a good podcast lmfao Didn’t Dane actually say on the recent CORNISH SOCCER podcast that the target was to finish fourth so that they could repay the club for the work they had done on getting the ground up to FA Cup entry standard.
