As always an extremely warm welcome from everyone at Callington and there can’t be many better settings in the South west. The score line is immaterial for preseason friendlies, it’s all about fitness levels and gelling a new group of players together. New signings Will Tinsley, Jack Calver, Fletcher Williams, Jordan Copp and Kurtis Damerall all started and came thru well. Mike Williams, Billy Palfrey, Antonio Costa and Jack Rhead all came on around the hour mark. A good run out on an immaculate surface on a very warm evening…with ice cold cider a plenty. A good crowd of around 100 had a very pleasant evening at Marsh Fields. Thank you again to everyone Callington for the hospitality and good luck for the forthcoming season.

Falmouth 3 Peterborough Academy 0

3 good goals from luke brabyn, Tim Nixon, and ollie walker on his return to the club were just reward against a good , fast and skillfull Peterborough  academy who lacked that final killer ball to get past a resolute town defence well marshalled as usual by Joe cooper and the reliable Ryan Barnes in goal .

Watched Godolphin vs Redruth this afternoon not a bad game couple of decent new players  there for the G ,THEY WON 4-0 Dom Roberts with 3 and Joe Stone with the other also was my man of the match . The ref was excellent played the advantage and was really good be good when the new season starts then we can see what the proper sides are like not a mish mash of sides at the moment

Think it was a good work out for both teams. To be fair to the ref both teams made his job easy competitive but fair apart from the one handbags with 5 to go. Thanks to Godolphin for the hospitality first ever visit from Redruth United and well worth the visit. Shame about the greenhouse 😀
