Bruegel the Elder
4-2 to Cornwall at the end of the day, not bad considering that the Navy had a number of subs to deploy. At the end of the day the score was subordinate to the occasion. A fitting tribute to 125 years of Cornish football. Congratulations to all at the CCFA, Navy and St Blazey for putting on a spectacle (against the odds weather-wise). Tanya, you looked the part, your pride in your players/offspring quite justified. Those of you who gave it a miss could have enjoyed a good game, a great occasion and a rather splendid curry! Your loss! (Paul, about 250 paying and maybe another 50 not!) David Bray
Thanks Guys. Glad you enjoyed the evening, very lucky with the weather, ground in excellent condition. Arrived home relieved that the evening went so well. And what a free kick from Martin Watts, could have done the 'keeper GBH had he got in the way. Are there any other plans you can tell us about as to how the county is celebrating the anniversary? The County intends to have a representative match involving players from the Women's Leagues later in the season. Various other rep matches are under consideration and more should be made clear in the next few weeks, especially after last evenings event went so well.
