Mauler
Peter Kelly - Porthleven He did his first Cruyff turn before Johan in the late 60s and his last at Pendeen in the late 90s.
Barters
Paul Partridge was a Torpoint for many seasons debut as a teenager against St Blazey and led the club to their first and only South West League Cup win against Penzance.
Paul
One player that comes to mind was the Tavistock goalkeeper Andy Meeds Almost not the same when you see Tavi play and Andy Meeds is not playing. He won many a match for tavi, no doubt about it. Constantly telling his defenders to settle, settle. Good banter with him. Dont think youll see anyone stick with one club like that again. Halfback
Was this the same Peter Kelly who lived in the Camborne Area early 1970 ?
Dave Deacon
"liskeard athletic - joe partridge, steve nute" Probably more likely to be the late Brian Bunney - over 700?
Tommy Matthews
Was this the same Peter Kelly who lived in the Camborne Area early 1970 ? No. Peter is Porthleven born and bred and has never kicked a ball for another club. Great servant for Port and great guy too.

noahc
i only said the liskeard keepers for their years at the club. joe was (i believe) a one club man aside from a spell at argyle and he was a permanent figure in the 1950s and 1960s. steve nute was there in the 1980s when there were more games per season. i bow to those in the know! Nemesis
Sean Middleton has had 14 or 15 seasons with Newquay (and one with Porthleven), not sure of the amount of games but must be 500+ for The Peppermints.

I'm not in the know, purely suggesting that Brian would be the benchmark to beat!
Graham Deacon
The late Brian Bunney played 700 games or more for Liskeard and was never sent off or even booked in any of them. He was a defender which makes that record even more outstanding, although Brian did say to me when watching his grandsons playing for Dobwalls that he probably would not have escaped a booking or two in today,s football. A true gent though who played the game hard but fair.
David Bray
What about Martin Cook at Wadebridge. Must be 20 years, i am sure he was with Wadebridge Town when he played for the County Youth side in 1994. And unless i am mistaken he has been there ever since.
