Foxhole 3 (Beresford 29, Rowe pen 55, Damerell 83) Liskeard 4 (Tre Hansford 24, 27, Gilbert 41, Collins 44)

Right from the first whistle it was clear the visitors were up for the challenge, and they twice went close to scoring inside sixty seconds, most notably when Beresford was required to clear off the line Gilbert's header. Alas the Foxes did not heed the warning and, hampered by the withdrawal within ten minutes of the hobbling Rickard, it was no surprise when Hansford capitalised on suspect defending, his mis-hit effort eluding Prynn at the near post. Hansford's almost immediate second, lashed high into the net from twelve yards, exhibited the sort of deadly marksmanship the home strikers were unable to replicate for the remainder of the match. Although Beresford calmly reduced the arrears following intelligent link-up play with Rowe to spark a period of home pressure, the visiting 'keeper was not unduly tested; by contrast, Prynn was to be beaten twice more before the break, first by the ubiquitous Gilbert with a drive that also sneaked inside the front post, and then by Collins with a daisy-cutter.

To their credit the home team were to come agonisingly close to rescuing a point with a strong second-half showing, but a crucial lack of composure in front of goal proved decisive. Liskeard defended in numbers and with no little determination and ultimately just about deserved their victory, competently soaking up pressure while looking dangerous on the break, especially as Perraton had joined the fray at half time. Rowe made it 4-2 with a penalty awarded for a push, but, despite a glut of hard-luck stories, the third did not arrive until seven minutes from time. Damerell's overhead kick found the target after Reed-Bennett had been brilliantly denied, but the Foxes had left themselves with just too much to do.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Luke Damerell, Lee Rickard (sub. Zach Smith-Brokenshire), Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Jake Couch (sub. Levi Kerrigan), Nathan Allen (sub. Lee Reed-Bennett); Benno Bould (sub. Cam Bidgood), Chris Kilbey (sub. Charlie Prynn), Courtney Rowe.

Liskeard: Bradley Agar (sub. Jayden Hansford), Jacob Broadwater (sub. Gavin Perraton), Gary Carpenter, Ben Collins, Max Gilbert, Tre Hansford, Harry Jeffery, Joel Mitchell, Maddox Nicholls, Matt Outram, Billy Westlake.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Liskeard. Many thanks to Ross McMenemy and Jon Colenzo.

Nanpean 3 (Trudgeon 41, 78 pen, 85) Foxhole 3 (Damerell 54, Kilbey 61, Peers 81)

Despite scoring six goals in their opening two games, the Foxes remain winless as the home team exposed more defensive frailties. Rather like last week, the opposition found it worryingly straightforward to threaten, Foxhole seemingly unable to replicate the fundamental tactic successfully deployed by both Liskeard and now Nanpean of denying space in the final third by getting vast numbers behind the ball. That is to take nothing away from the ruthless Trudgeon, whose hat-trick with his only three efforts was in stark contrast to the numerous squandered opportunities at the other end, although both Bould and Rowe were unfortunate to see thunderbolts cannon off the bar, while Harbone brillantly denied Kilbey from distance.

Having survived an early onslaught with their goal intact, Nanpean grew into the game. The willing Oldham, in particular, looked dangerous, his bustling approach soon creating the opening for Wilshaw to also strike the bar of an unguarded net from forty yards with Prynn stranded. Just before the break, Trudgeon smashed his first into the top corner from the angle of the box, but Damerell levelled nine minutes into the second half when he turned home Kilbey's low centre from six yards. It all seemed to be going to plan when Rowe released Kilbey to finish with aplomb, but Foxhole were unable to extend their advantage, all too often their final ball either being over-hit or comfortably cut out by the omnipresent Bonney. Perhaps inevitably, Oldham raced clear only to be upended by Rickard for Trudgeon to despatch the penalty, but Peers almost immediately made it 3-2, coolly converting after Dingle's cross had only been half cleared. That really should have been that, shop closed, shutters down, till takings counted, floor swept. Instead Brown was yet again able to release Oldham, whose run this time was cut short by Prynn, who joined his captain in the book. Trudgeon's free-kick somehow crept through the wall, but a draw was probably about right.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Luke Damerell, Lee Rickard, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Levi Kerrigan, Nathan Allen; Benno Bould, Chris Kilbey, Courtney Rowe. Subs: Jake Couch, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Cameron Bidgood, Jowan Dingle.

Nanpean (4-3-3): Alfie Harbone; Sam Truscott, Ryan Best, Luke Truscott, Ashley Bonney; Luke Turner, Scott Brown, Martyn O'Callaghan; Tyler Trudgeon, Harry Wilshaw, Callum Oldham. Subs: Gareth Geach, Chris Whitford.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Nanpean. Many thanks to Dan Bennetts and Ciaran Igoe.

Newquay 0 Foxhole 4 (Dingle 8, Reed-Bennett 62, 81, 86)

They were made to work hard but a strong second half showing capped by a fine hat-trick from substitute Reed-Bennett secured the Foxes' first victory of the campaign. A great advantage played by the referee after a foul on the excellent Couch had allowed Dingle to open the scoring, his strike from fifteen yards eluding Morey-McKenna, who would soon show great agility to twice deny Bould. The home team went closest to an equaliser when Prynn saved well from Preston, and there was little between the teams by the end of a feisty first half. Reed-Bennett made it 2-0 when he swivelled to blast home just after the hour mark, by which time the visitors had asserted some measure of control, only for Newquay team to squander the opportunity to reduce the arrears when Prynn brilliantly launched himself to his left to keep out a penalty awarded against Damerell for hands. Moore then saw red after an altercation with Smith-Brokenshire, and Foxhole fully exploited the extra space. First Reed-Bennett shot home from a yard after Morey-McKenna had somehow stopped Rowe's close-range effort before Reed-Bennett capitalised on hesitant defending to finish left-footed from the edge of the box. Couch was unfortunate to be adjudged offside when following up Rowe's drive, but the destination of the points had long since been settled.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Lee Rickard, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Jake Couch, Nathan Allen; Benno Bould, Chris Kilbey, Jowan Dingle. Subs: Levi Kerrigan, Charlie Prynn, Luke Damerell, Courtney Rowe, Lee Reed-Bennett.

Newquay: Dan Morey-McKenna; Jayden Kempthorne, Ollie Butterworth, Tyler Moore, Owen Royes, Lucas Moses, Alfie Brown, Ben Piper, Johnny Coleman, Lucas Preston, Ben Holden. Subs: Tommi Jay Harding, Fred Veale, Drew Brion.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Newquay. Many thanks to Andrew Jenkin and the home lino.

Foxhole 7 (Kilbey 18, 43, Reed-Bennett 53, Bould 56, Rowe 65, 80, 89) St Stephen 1 (James 60)

Solomon could have put the visitors ahead when racing clear after sixteen minutes, but he was unable to beat James Prynn, who saved well with his legs. Within seconds, Charlie Prynn's defensive header had released Kilbey to cleverly lob Julian from the edge of the box, from which time there was only going to be one winner. Allen's early withdrawal following a clash of heads with James led to a mass reshuffle which included Smith-Brokenshire occupying a more central role and Reed-Bennett switching antipodally from outside-left to right-back as the Foxes turned the screw. Numerous chances were spurned, most notably by Damerell, Beresford and Rowe, whose fierce free-kick was also brilliantly tipped away, before Kilbey was rewarded for his anticipation by tapping home Bould's mis-hit shot.

Foxhole at last found their shooting boots after the break. Reed-Bennett capitalised on Julian's misplaced pass to fire into an unguarded net from thirty yards before Smith-Brokenshire's centre was converted by Bould for his first of the season. Davis' left-wing corner was bravely headed in by James for a visiting consolation on the hour, but Rowe soon made it 5-1 when volleying Manning's low cross into the net. Another Charlie Prynn assist released Rowe to finish well with his left foot, the same player completing his hat-trick at the death by ramming home after Julian had parried Bould's stinger.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Luke Damerell, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Charlie Prynn, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Jake Couch, Nathan Allen; Benno Bould, Chris Kilbey, Lee Reed-Bennett. Subs: Courtney Rowe, Josh Small, Jay Manning.

St Stephen (4-5-1): Andrew Julian; Lucas Carter, Josh Davis, Hayden Doherty, Kieran Ralph; Josh Jacobs, Conner Dean, Tarun Rowland, Glyn James, Scott Taylor; Adam Solomon. Sub: Jon Doherty.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to St Stephen. Many thanks to Dave Rowe and Ian Trevenna.

Foxhole 7 (Kilbey 25, Bould 28, 65, 86, Peers 32, Rowe 43, Couch 87) Wadebridge 0

After a slow start Foxhole ran out comfortable victors over their youthful opponents. Bould and Smith-Brokenshire teamed up for Kilbey to open the scoring before Couch released Bould to bag the second. Peers combined well with Bould to fire left-footed past Jeal, Rowe then converting Smith-Brokenshire's inswinging corner from close range at the near post. Wadebridge continued to battle gamely after the break to restrict the damage but were unable to prevent Bould from completing his hat-trick, first when capitalising on slack defending to find the net from twenty yards, and then by finishing off fine work down the right by Reed-Bennett. Couch rounded off the emphatic win late on by swivelling and placing the ball beyond an exposed keeper.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates; Chris Kilbey, Jake Couch, Nathan Allen; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Lee Reed-Bennett. Subs: Charlie Prynn, Levi Kerrigan, Reece Davies, Jowan Dingle.

Kilkhampton 1 (Ryan Thomas) Foxhole 4 (Beresford 5, Rowe pen 20, Reed-Bennett 43,44)

This game was more competitive than the score would suggest, Foxhole having to play well to overcome a young home side who played tidy football and who offered a considerable threat upfront. Beresford's deflected effort early on was followed by Rowe's penalty, smashed down the middle after the keeper had needlessly upended Reed-Bennett, at a time when Kilkhampton were mounting dangerous attacks down the slope. Fortunately for the Foxes, their rearguard was up to the task, ably shielded by Kerrigan, so their net was largely unthreatened. Two brilliant quick-fire goals from Reed-Bennett, both with his left foot and from twenty yards, then sweetened the half-time tea. While after the break and with nothing to lose Kilkhampton finally began to extend Prynn, he was only to be beaten once when the lively Ryan Thomas seized on a lack of concentration to finish calmly. However, the destination of the points was never in doubt, only a lack of composure and some unorthodox goalkeeping preventing Foxhole from increasing their advantage as they repeatedly cut through the home defence with incisive play.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Lee Rickard, Angel Coates; Chris Kilbey, Aaron Beresford, Levi Kerrigan; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Lee Reed-Bennett. Subs: Jake Couch, Nathan Allen, Reece Davies, Jowan Dingle.

Kilkhampton: Alfie Cottle, Callum Johns, Matthew Jones, Harry Nancekivell, Learn Powell, Tom Shadrick, Adam Sleeman, Jack Sleeman, Ben Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Shaun Thomas. Subs: Alfie Petch, Sam Ward.

Well played the super Foxes. Many thanks to Richard Butter, Jowan Dingle and the various home linos.

Foxhole 2 (Peers 82, Rickard 88) Hayle 4 (Rennard 8, Irish 8, 24, Williams 44)

In a carbon copy of the Liskeard game in August, Foxhole narrowly failed to overturn the significant damage incurred in a first half defensive meltdown. Hayle started very brightly and went ahead when Rennard sneaked in at the far post to convert a mis-hit effort by Irish, who, seconds later, fired home himself from twenty yards. The Foxes attempted to mount a fightback, but the excellent visitors were adept at denying any space in their own half. As a result, Hendy was a virtual spectator; by contrast Prynn was soon beaten again when he was able only to parry Hicks' fierce free-kick into the path of Irish. When Williams bagged the fourth from distance just before the break it looked all over, but spirited Foxhole went on to dominate the remainder of the game. Numerous chances were spurned as Hayle suddenly looked vulnerable, particularly when Rickard was introduced as an auxiliary striker. Damerell struck a post from in front of the stand, Hendy brilliantly saved Rowe's free-kick and headers from Coates and Damerell, while Bould saw an effort cleared from the line before Peers finally struck low into the corner. Rickard's thunderbolt at the death was the least they deserved, but mountains are extremely difficult to climb.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates, Reece Davies; Aaron Beresford, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Levi Kerrigan; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Lee Reed-Bennett. Subs: Nathan Allen, Lee Rickard, Chris Kilbey.

Hayle: Stefan Barbagallo, Joe Carlyon, Caleb Hendy, Aaron Hicks, Cam Irish, Aidan Murphy, Kieran Rennard, Callum Sidwell, Noah Tanner, Kane Williams, Troy Williams. Subs: Fin Ayling, Sennen Craig, James Gold, Curtis Smith, Louis Tague.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Hayle. Many thanks to Ashley Morris and the visiting lino.

Torpoint 0 Foxhole 5 (Rowe 22, 78, Bould 39, 60, Dingle 68)

Emphatic Foxhole swept aside their youthful hosts with a superb display. While the early stages were nip and tuck, there was no stopping the visitors once Rowe had guided a drive low to the keeper's left. Beresford looked a class above throughout, often combining with Kilbey to create pockets of space, and registered a trio of assists. First, aided by marauding full back Reed-Bennett's decoy run, Beresford found the unmarked Bould to slot home. Then, during a dominant second half, his brilliant first-time pass allowed Bould to repeat the trick, before beautiful trickery sent Dingle clear, his cross only being half-cleared for Rowe to convert from close range to make it 5-0. By then, Dingle had bagged the fourth himself, his great finish at the near post a just reward for his huge impact after replacing Rickard.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Lee Reed-Bennett, Reece Davies, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Angel Coates; Chris Kilbey, Levi Kerrigan, Aaron Beresford; Courtney Rowe, Benno Bould, Lee Rickard. Subs: Jowan Dingle, Charlie Prynn, Jake Couch.

St Stephen 0 Foxhole 7 (Rowe 6, 21, Reed-Bennett 19, Bould 58, Peers 66, 70, Kilbey 76)

A place in the next round of the Evely Cup was secured with little fuss. Rowe opened the scoring early on with a chip from twenty-five yards, the same player then cleverly releasing Reed-Bennett to plant an effort into the corner from similar range before finishing off good work by Dingle with a shot on the turn. While Bray was brilliantly denied by Prynn following a fine run down the left by Dean, there were to be no other scares as the Foxes further turned the screw after the break. Damerell's raking pass sent Dingle away, but he could only strike the far post before Bould made it 4-0 from Beresford's assist. Sub Peers helped himself to the next two goals, first by converting more great approach play by Beresford, and then by beating Doherty at the near post from Rowe's pass. The home keeper had performed well despite the score, and was unlucky to see his parry from Bould's drive fall kindly for Kilbey to notch the seventh.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Charlie Prynn, Angel Coates, Luke Damerell; Levi Kerrigan, Aaron Beresford, Lee Reed-Bennett; Courtney Rowe, Benno Bould, Lee Rickard. Subs: Tim Peers, Nathan Allen, Chris Kilbey.

St Stephen (4-3-3): Jon Doherty; Jack Harvey, Ryan Beckly, Stuart Kesson-Smith, Saul Niles; Tarun Rowland, Hayden Doherty, Joe Stone; Conner Dean, Orlando Bray, Adam Solomon. Subs: Riley Blackwell-Smyth, Scott Taylor.

Foxhole 5 (Rowe 33, pen 61, 83, Beresford 50, 70) Newquay 1 (Moses 81)

Despite playing a man down for seventy-seven minutes after Bould's needless dismissal, Foxhole comfortably saw off their youthful visitors with a terrific display. Newquay were pinned back from the start but somehow held out until twelve minutes before the break when Rowe turned brilliantly before firing into the far corner from twenty-five yards. Early in the second half, good work from Peers released Reed-Bennett, who unselfishly squared for Beresford to blast home. After Reed-Bennett had been tripped, the outstanding Rowe soon made it three from the spot before he collected Dingle's pass to cleverly hold off a defender and set up Beresford for number four. Although Moses grabbed a late consolation from close range, it was fitting that Rowe should have the final word, latching on to Coates' headed clearance to lob the keeper to complete his second hat-trick of a season which has seen him already bag thirteen goals.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates, Zach Smith-Brokenshire; Aaron Beresford, Chris Kilbey, Nathan Allen; Lee Reed-Bennett, Courtney Rowe, Benno Bould. Subs: Jowan Dingle, Charlie Prynn, Reece Davies, Jake Couch.

Looe 3 (Boxall 1, Stephenson 29, Davies og 70) Foxhole 4 (Reed-Bennett 41, 84, Rowe 42 pen, 86)

Forgetting to pack their shooting boots with their Arctic weather gear, Foxhole made hard work of beating their lowly opponents who went ahead after only thirty seven seconds when the unmarked Boxall turned home Sweeney's cross at the far post from close range. As well as too frequently falling foul of the offside flag, the visitors then contrived to squander a host of opportunities without ever really testing Cooke, only to fall further behind when Stephenson drove past a labouring Damerell to fire inside stand-in keeper Small's near post from twenty yards. That goal was not entirely unexpected, the home team clearly sensing the Foxes were far from at their best, perhaps understandable given the gap since the last game. Reed-Bennet reduced the arrears following incisive play from Beresford and fellow substitute Kerrigan; within seconds, Rowe had been bundled over before confidently despatching the penalty.

The wind had undoubtedly contributed to the untidy nature of the match, but it was now to ramp up in ferocity. Blowing right across the pitch (turned ninety degrees since our last visit) meant that most of the early stages of the second half was either played in the tram-lines of the Foxhole right or spent chasing after misplaced orbs heading towards Downderry. When the ball finally found its way back to the main arena, and shortly after an enforced break for a violent hail-storm, Davies' back pass from forty yards eluded Small. Looe's spirit suggested they could hold on to their advantage, particularly as the Foxes' finishing had not improved, but two late pieces of quality secured the points. Clever play from Grubb allowed Rowe to equalise before Smith-Brokenshire broke down the right to tee up Reed-Bennett to place a shot low past Cooke.

Foxhole (4-3-3): Josh Small; Jowan Dingle, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates, Zach Smith-Brokenshire; Jake Couch, Chris Kilbey, Aaron Beresford; Tim Peers, Courtney Rowe, Lee Rickard. Subs: Levi Kerrigan, Lee Reed-Bennett, Reece Davies, Leo Grubb.

Looe: Ryan Cooke, Aubrey Boxall, Richard Faircloth, Kieran Hemmings, Philippos Kombostiotis, Callum Palfrey, Harrison Southall, Matt Steed, Barry Stephenson, Archie Sweeney, Jack Woollett. Subs: Josh Doney, Aden Pike.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Looe. Many thanks to Gary Cornish and the home lino.

Foxhole 1 (Rowe 63) Torpoint 4 (Robbins 11, Murray 54, Applegate 83,84)

While the scoreline may have flattered them, there is no denying the better team on the day came out on top. From the start, Torpoint looked well organised and were quick to break, and they went ahead through centre-forward Robbins' brilliant dipping volley from forty yards. Despite their best efforts and some nice interplay, the Foxes were unable to break down a formidable visiting rearguard until moments before the break when Rowe found the net, only to be denied by an offside call. Foxhole's best spell came early in the second half, but Dingle's touch let him down when clean through, while Clarke saved Peers' drive with his legs, only for Murray to double the lead when he bundled home from close range following a corner. Rowe made it interesting with a fine goal, collecting from Beresford before beating White and firing into the corner, but Torpoint rarely looked like conceding again. Instead they sealed their spot in the next round of the Evely Cup with two late strikes from outside-left Applegate, the first a direct free-kick from twenty-yards that flew inside the near post, the second an inadvertent ricochet following a spot of pinball. By then, Curtis had been thrown on for his debut and he showed some promise, but the reality is Foxhole have now conceded three or more goals in a game five times already this season, compared to only twice during the whole of last season.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates, Zach Smith-Brokenshire; Levi Kerrigan, Chris Kilbey, Aaron Beresford; Lee Reed-Bennett, Courtney Rowe, Tim Peers. Subs: Jake Couch, Jowan Dingle, Owen Curtis, Reece Davies.

Torpoint: Ed Clarke, Sam White, Sean Thomson, Josh Babb, Mike Heron, Oscar Quintrell, Zak Pearce, Ethan Hunt, Dominic Murray, Byron Robbins, Ben Applegate. Subs: Aaron Cullerton, Nathan Franklin, Sam Roberts.

St Stephen 2 (Solomon 15, Neville 73) Foxhole 10 (Reed-Bennett 6, 50, 58, Rowe 24, 28, 65, Smith-Brokenshire 38, Peers 51, Beresford 66, Curtis 82)

Foxhole went ahead inside six minutes when Reed-Bennett broke through St Stephen's high back line to beat Julian. Moments after the same player had pulled an effort wide with the goal gaping, Dean's cross was dropped by stand-in keeper Small for Solomon to level. The visitor's experiment with a three-man defence was quickly abandoned and soon paid dividends when Reed-Bennett raced past Jago before squaring for Rowe to rifle into the roof of the net from eight yards. Peers took advantage of Edens' slip to set up the third for Rowe, whose spectacular volley from Damerell's centre then cannoned against an upright. From one of several flowing moves, Smith-Brokenshire made it 4-1 before the visitors proceeded to rack up five further goals within twenty-one minutes of the restart. First, Reed-Bennett curled a brilliant effort into the top corner before Couch's raking ball found the marauding Peers to smash past the over-worked Julian. Beresford's mazy dribble through a massed home rearguard was eventually foiled by the keeper, but the ball fell kindly for Reed-Bennett to gleefully complete his hat-trick, a feat soon matched by Rowe from close range following a corner. Beresford was not to be denied the place on the scoresheet his clever play deserved when he drove low into the corner, but his team at that point took their foot off the pedal. The Saints took advantage to notch a second when Small's miscued clearance was seized on by the battling Neville, but Curtis made it ten when he latched on to Reed-Bennett's assist for his inaugural senior goal.

Foxhole (3-5-2): Josh Small; Luke Damerell, Angel Coates, Lee Rickard; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Nathan Allen, Jake Couch, Aaron Beresford; Courtney Rowe, Lee Reed-Bennett. Subs: Jowan Dingle, Reece Davies, Levi Kerrigan, Owen Curtis.

Roche 1 (Trethewey 80) Foxhole 0

Wasteful Foxhole squandered a glut of chances before succumbing to Trethewey's late drive from twenty-five yards which flew into the top corner past stand-in keeper Davies. In fairness to the hosts, for whom Hunkin was in inspired form, Roche were determined throughout, defending deep, marking tightly and making countless blocks. Making better use of the strong breeze blowing towards the clubhouse, they might have embarrassed the visitors further, not least when Paul Osborne volleyed into Davies' midriff when well-placed, while Trethewey curled a corner onto the bar. By the time Prynn limped off inside twenty minutes, the Foxes could have been at least three up, but their efforts on goal lacked conviction, a trend that sadly continued. Ultimately there was an air of inevitability surrounding Trethewey's winner, his side then seeing out time in relative comfort.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Reece Davies, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Nathan Allen, Levi Kerrigan; Tim Peers, Lee Reed-Bennett, Courtney Rowe. Subs: Lee Rickard, Jake Couch, Benno Bould, Owen Curtis, Chris Kilbey.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Roche. Many thanks to Duncan Stevenson and Shaun Osborne.

St Newlyn East 0 Foxhole 3 (Bould 15, 31, Dingle 80)

Foxhole put last week's debacle behind them with a convincing victory full of energy and resilience. Prentice fended off early efforts from Rowe and Bould only to then combine with Gotthardt to present an alert Bould with an easy finish. As always, Newlyn played some decent football, their pressure forcing a succession of corners, but they were unable to extend Prynn who was well-protected by a resolute defence. The Foxes too were knocking the ball around nicely, and doubled their lead when Bould capitalised on another error. Nevertheless the home team were very much still in the game at that stage, but they were unable to provide runners beyond centre-forward Ross London, the focal point for virtually all their attacks, and whose clever play with his back to goal deserved better support. His booking for fouling Dingle in the first half was followed ten minutes after the restart with another for catching Kilbey and with him went his side's realistic ambitions of a fightback. While remaining on top, the visitors were only able to find the net once more, Reed-Bennett's decoy run creating space for Dingle to latch on to Smith-Brokenshire's pass to slot home.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Chris Kilbey, Levi Kerrigan; Lee Reed-Bennett, Courtney Rowe, Benno Bould. Subs: Nathan Allen, Tim Peers, Owen Curtis, Josh Small.

St Newlyn East: Nathan Prentice, Dan Ball, Ashley Bradshaw, Cam Burt, Jadon Gotthardt, Sean Kinsella, Russell Brooker, Harry Mugford, Owen London, Jake Watson, Ross London. Subs: Simon Baulch, Jackson Rochford, Sonny Summers-Evans.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to St Newlyn East. Many thanks to Alan Hoon and the home lino.

Foxhole 5 (Bould 24, 48, Reed-Bennett 44, Beresford 71, Rowe 77) Looe 1 (Doney 21)

Vindicating their mutual decision to retain a 2.30pm kick off, both teams contributed fully to an entertaining match in the Goverseth gloom. Particularly in the first half, Looe once more did not look like a side languishing at the bottom, and deservedly took the lead when Doney strode through unchallenged to unleash a drive into the top corner from twenty-five yards. The home response was almost immediate, Kilbey and Reed-Bennett combining shrewdly to release Bould to run through from half way and chip Cooke, prompting a period of pressure that saw Beresford roll an effort onto the far upright from Smith-Brokenshire's astute pass and for Cooke to brilliantly save Peers' shot from close range. However, the second was not to arrive until moments prior to the break, when Beresford's ball inside left-back Barrett was ruthlessly converted by Reed-Bennett.

While both Boxall and Kombostiotis may have found the net when finding themselves clean through only to be denied by Prynn's bravery and a last ditch tackle by Coates respectively, overall the second half was dominated by the Foxes. After Smith-Brokenshire's early inswinging corner was fumbled by Cooke for Bould to cleverly hook the ball high into the net, a more relaxed Foxhole began to display their true capabilities with some thrilling one-touch football. Substitute Allen may have a grabbed himself a hat-trick but it was Beresford who notched the fourth with an adroit finish from six yards, before Rowe's great left-footed shot on the turn found the net. Smith-Brokenshire had enjoyed a marvellous game in his rightful position down the left with a series of probing balls, and, from the final one of which, willing runner Small was upended. Cooke, though, was equal to Small's well-struck spot-kick.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Luke Damerell, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Chris Kilbey, Levi Kerrigan; Lee Reed-Bennett, Courtney Rowe, Benno Bould. Subs: Nathan Allen, Jake Couch, Owen Curtis, Reece Davies, Josh Small.

Boscastle 3 (Bosley 8, 48, Insley pen 31) Foxhole 5 (Kilbey 1, 15, Rowe 27, pen 76, Reed-Bennett 53)

Foxhole eventually came out on top on an incredibly heavy pitch after the home team three times exposed defensive frailty. Kilbey put his side ahead inside seventy seconds, blasting past Haddy at his near post after intelligently being found by Beresford, but Boscastle soon made it all square when Insley slid in the speedy Bosley who confidently planted the ball across Prynn. Brushing off this setback, and with the wind mainly in their favour, the Foxes seemed to take command of the game, Kilbey restoring the lead from close range when one-on-one. He had been released by Rowe, who soon reacted first to Haddy's parry from another Kilbey effort only to be denied by an unbelievable save from the rebound. However Rowe did make it 3-1 following good work by Reed-Bennett, and all seemed to be going to plan until Davies fouled Bosley for Insley to stroke home the spot-kick to give the Forrabury Park outfit the boost they needed to finish the half searching for the equaliser.

The second half was only three minutes old when it came, Bosley netting from three yards after a massive scramble. At that stage Boscastle appeared the more likely victors, but Foxhole dug in magnificently, Couch and Kerrigan especially brilliantly shielding a rearguard badly missing the absent Damerell and Rickard and, by now, Peers, who, along with Kilbey, had been withdrawn with injury. Reed-Bennett took advantage of a half clearance to volley through a ruck of defenders, and, as the influence of Insley and Bosley waned to leave Prynn a virtual spectator, the visitors began to repeatedly cut through the home side. Dingle's pace down the right was causing all sorts of problems, and he was to provide a number of inviting centres that went unconverted. Dingle also twice found himself clear with only the keeper to beat, Haddy proving up to the challenge but he was powerless to prevent Rowe's penalty awarded for a trip to halt Reed-Bennett's mazy dribble. Butler's introduction at the break had provided a calming influence, but he was to be denied the goal his excellent display warranted by the crossbar as the Foxes ultimately ran out relatively comfortable winners.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Reece Davies, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Jake Couch, Levi Kerrigan; Lee Reed-Bennett, Courtney Rowe, Chris Kilbey. Subs: Jowan Dingle, Owen Curtis, Josh Small, Andrew Butler.

Foxhole 3 (Couch 51, Rowe 70, Bould pen 87) Nanpean 1 (Foster 82)

Following an even first half of few chances at either end, Foxhole improved to secure a deserved victory, opening the scoring when Harbone was only able to parry Kilbey's fierce drive for Couch to tap home from a yard. When Rowe headed in Smith-Brokenshire's centre with twenty minutes remaining it looked all over, only for Foster out of nowhere to reduce the arrears after a defensive lapse. However, Small was soon to be tripped by Truscott, allowing Bould to confidently convert the penalty.

St Blazey 0 Foxhole 0

While a draw was fair, the Foxes will be frustrated they couldn't convert one of the admittedly few clear cut opportunities they were able to create against a formidable home defence, especially after a bright opening twenty minutes. Beresford and Reed-Bennett were both foiled by the impressive Robinson when clean through in the second half, while Kilbey crashed a fierce effort off the bar before the break. Otherwise, St Blazey successfully nullified any visiting threat, and went close with a Jeffreys header and a Deards free-kick that was briliantly saved by Prynn, and who possessed the game's outstanding player in centre-forward Willcock, who offered textbook examples of both leadership of a young side and how to relieve pressure and feed team-mates by holding up the ball even when closely marked.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Angel Coates, Luke Damerell; Levi Kerrigan, Reece Davies, Aaron Beresford; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Chris Kilbey. Subs: Lee Reed-Bennett, Owen Curtis, Jake Couch, Tim Peers.

St Blazey: George Robinson, Ben Rowe, Aidan Jeffreys, Harley Deards, Jowan Hooper, Jack Swiggs, Dan Carr, Aston Cantell, Ross Willcock, Jack Ratcliffe, Harry Hambly. Sub: Preston Paul Russon.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to St Blazey. Many thanks to Ashley Morris and the home lino.

Wadebridge 1 (Biddick 79) Foxhole 1 (Bould 63)

Rather like on Wednesday, Foxhole were unable to overcome well-organised and talented opposition and can have no complaints at dropping a further two points in the north coast gale. Again clear cut opportunities were at a premium at either end, but the home team could justifiably claim theirs were every bit as convertable as the visitors'. After a lacklustre first half when only Bould's header was of any concern to Hill, Foxhole improved into the wind after the break following the introduction of Butler and Bidgood, a clever low centre from the latter of whom soon being forced in by Bould from close range. Had Bidgood's chip a few minutes later nestled in the far corner instead of landing gently on the bar, the Foxes probably would have won, but Wadebridge never looked out of it, Biddick equalising at the far post late on despite Coates' desperate efforts on the line. Brown curled a shot just wide when well placed, and Butler saw a free-kick grabbed at the second attempt by Hill, but a draw was about right, Coates' dismissal at the death for denying Robinson a clear run on goal only compounding the misery.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Tim Peers, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Angel Coates, Luke Damerell; Chris Kilbey, Aaron Beresford, Jake Couch; Benno Bould, Lee Reed-Bennett, Jowan Dingle. Subs: Andrew Butler, Cam Bidgood, Courtney Rowe, Josh Small.

Wadebridge: Liam Hill, Sam Arnold, Josh Brennan, Archie Brown, Callum Buse, Jack Biddick, Rob Rosevear, Will Westlake, Sam Richards, Kenan Nicholas, Josh Horner. Subs: Mayland Amos, Ruben Ferreira, Zack O'Connor, Quinn Roberts, Charlie Robinson.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Wadebridge. Many thanks to Dale England and the home lino.

Foxhole 7 (Butler 16, Bidgood 26, 69, 70, Ball 31, Rowe 48, Bould pen 74) St Newlyn East 1 (Watson 89)

Foxhole returned to winnings ways with an emphatic victory. While there were never six goals between the sides, the away team were unable to match some clever approach play with the required cutting edge. By contrast, the Foxes' finishing was far more ruthless than of late, typified by the returning Bidgood. After Burt had squandered an early opportunity when clean through, Butler opened the scoring with a low drive from Bould's flick, which was soon followed by Bidgood's adept chip into the roof of the net following Prentice's initial save from Rowe. Debutant Ball's free header from Butler's corner made it three as Foxhole turned the screw.

The second half had not long begun when Bidgood raced past Bradshaw to unselfishly square for Rowe to side foot home from close range. While there were no real signs of being able to mount a fightback, Newlyn continued to find space in midfield, an area the Foxes will undoubtedly address for the forthcoming busy run in. Despite this, and from another Bould assist, Bidgood calmly lifted the ball over Prentice before completing his hat-trick from inside the six yard box with a nice touch after Davies' free-kick had been allowed to travel a long way. Bould then raced clear only to be upended by a subsequently booked Watson, the striker himself confidently despatching the penalty. Newlyn deserved something for their efforts, and Watson obliged with the last kick of the game, chipping Prynn from twenty-five yards.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Lee Rickard, Dan Ball, Luke Damerell; Aaron Beresford, Andrew Butler, Lee Reed-Bennett; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Cam Bidgood. Subs: Reece Davies, Nathan Allen, Owen Curtis, Josh Small.

Foxhole 4  (Bidgood 50, Peers 67, Dines og 81, Butler 89) St Minver 4 (Brown 3, Wootton 9, Ed Green 22, Caddy 49)

Foxhole somehow recovered from four down to snatch a point after a disappointing defensive display. The visitors were far more incisive early on, and went ahead inside four minutes when Dunnett's inviting centre was touched home at the far post by centre-forward Brown, whose ability to retain possession even when closely marked meant he was a focal point for virtually all of their attacks. And there were plenty of them, so it was no real shock when Wootton extended the lead, slotting past Prynn following clever interplay with Rob Green. By contrast to the home frailties, St Minver appeared rock solid at the back, epitomised by commanding performances by Stone and Combellack, although they did permit a free header from Rowe which Hurst did well to smother. Ed Green then drove into the net from twenty-five yards after a free-kick rebounded kindly to him to confirm his team's supremacy, the Foxes managing to avoid any further damage before the break.

When Caddy was allowed too easily to shoot into the far corner soon after the restart it appeared all over, but Bidgood replied within seconds following a scramble. With nothing to lose, the Foxes piled forward spurred on by the increasing influence of both Butler and Beresford in midfield as the visitors began to look vulnerable, particularly when Peers latched on to Bidgood's pass to flick beyond the onrushing Hurst. With nine minutes remaining a low centre from the right found its way into the net at the near post possibly off Dines, before the last-gasp equaliser. Beresford fed Bould, who held off Stone to release Butler to calmly beat Hurst. A draw was ultimately about right to leave the title race wide open, but the Foxes know they must tighten up at the back.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Dan Ball, Luke Damerell; Aaron Beresford, Andrew Butler, Lee Reed-Bennett; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Cam Bidgood. Subs: Tim Peers, Reece Davies, Nathan Allen, Owen Curtis.

St Columb 0 Foxhole 12 (Bould 23, 34, 51, Beresford 29, 47, Small 59, Bidgood 61, Rowe 69, 71, 84, Curtis 76 pen, Smith-Brokenshire 82)

St Columb somehow held out until the twenty-fourth minute when Bidgood's deep cross from the right was headed in by Bould, who soon unselfishly squared for Beresford to tap into an unguarded net to double the lead. Bould then latched on to Prynn's kick to brilliantly volley past Ball from thirty yards to confirm the away team's dominance. Immediately on the restart, clever feet from Beresford bagged him his second before Bidgood, by now operating down the left, swung in a first time ball for Bould to complete his hat trick with another far post header. His replacement Small soon got in on the act, showing good composure to plant a drive past Ball, who was then left exposed again as a fine move down the right saw Dingle centre low for Bidgood to finish from close range. As St Columb fell apart, Smith-Brokenshire's cross was met by a half volley from Rowe, who then nipped in front of Ball to convert Curtis' pass. Curtis, who had pulled a first half penalty wide following a hand ball, made no mistake second time around after Allen had been chopped down, before Smith-Brokenshire hit a screamer into the top corner from thirty-five yards. Rowe rounded off the scoring, chipping the keeper from inside his own half after a quickly taken free-kick.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Dan Ball, Luke Damerell; Aaron Beresford, Levi Kerrigan, Lee Reed-Bennett; Benno Bould, Owen Curtis, Cam Bidgood. Subs: Josh Small, Nathan Allen, Chris Kilbey, Courtney Rowe.

Foxhole 2 (Bould pen 52, 53) Torpoint 2 (Robbins 4, Clarke 47)

Once again the slow starting Foxes conceded an early goal. Prynn was penalised for handling outside the box, allowing Robbins to flight the free-kick dangerously, the ball fizzing into the net following a deflection. The gangly Clarke almost doubled the lead minutes later, but his fierce drive crashed against the bar, prompting a relieved home side to find their feet, albeit without looking over threatening. The best chance fell at the far post to Bidgood, but he was unable to convert Smith-Brokenshire's inviting centre. Rowe was brilliantly denied by Brown at full stretch immediately following the restart but, within moments, Clarke's effort crept past Prynn, again aided by a deflection. Faced yet again with having to rise from the ashes, Foxhole responded superbly with two goals inside a minute. First, Sam White felled Reed-Bennett from behind, the penalty being confidently dispatched by Bould, who then volleyed home Kilbey's excellent cross. Despite dominating the remainder of the match, they were unable to complete the comeback to leave St Minver the only winners on the day.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Jowan Dingle, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Angel Coates, Luke Damerell; Aaron Beresford, Nathan Allen, Lee Reed-Bennett; Benno Bould, Courtney Rowe, Cam Bidgood. Subs: Reece Davies, Chris Kilbey.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Torpoint. Many thanks to Rodney Campbell and the visiting lino.

Foxhole 0 St Blazey 1 (Newton 70)

Since putting fifteen past their opponents over two weekends eighteen months ago, Foxhole have now gone three games without even scoring against St Blazey, who fully deserved their victory with an assured performance. Displaying greater mobility, stronger in the challenge and more composed on the ball, the visitors were just better throughout. The Foxes' backline, sorely missing Peers and Dingle and, within ten minutes of the start, Damerell, actually defended pretty well against a talented forward line, whose movement, pace, aggression and desire were excellent and perennially threatening. It was no real surprise therefore when Newton's free-kick out wide found the top corner, his team then seeing out time relatively comfortably although Robinson had to be alert to deny Rowe's late drive.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Reece Davies, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Angel Coates, Luke Damerell; Aaron Beresford, Nathan Allen, Andrew Butler; Benno Bould, Chris Kilbey, Cam Bidgood. Subs: Courtney Rowe, Dan Ball, Owen Curtis.

St Blazey: George Robinson, Jowan Hooper, Ben Rowe, Harrison Russon, Preston Paul Russon, Ashton Cantell, Bailey Trethewey, Dan Carr, Ross Willcock, Jack Ratcliffe, George Newton. Subs: Jack Swiggs, Ollie Swiggs, Aidan Jeffreys.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to St Blazey. Many thanks to Paul Cackett and Dale Isbell.

Liskeard 1 (Tre Hansford 79) Foxhole 3 (Bould 53, 73, 89)

A hat trick by substitute Bould clinched the victory after a disappointing week. Up to his arrival six minutes into the second half, the Foxes had looked pretty toothless in attack despite enjoying the majority of the play. Kicking down the slope, forward passes were routinely over hit or eagerly gobbled up by the young home defence. The best chance had been created by Rowe, who turned Upton and fired left-footed but Agar saved smartly. For their part, Liskeard had failed to unduly threaten Prynn, although he was relieved to watch Tre Hansford shoot over an unguarded net after Curtis' square pass had gone astray. However, Bould soon opened the scoring, bursting clear to lob replacement keeper Woolfe from thirty-five yards. Foxhole continued to repeatedly fall foul of the offside flag as they sought to extend their lead, but all seemed to be going to plan when, after robbing Carpenter out wide, Kerrigan floated in a fine cross which was expertly headed in by Bould from eight yards. However, this served to inspire the home team to pile forward, causing some decidedly uncomfortable moments for the depleted visiting backline, and Hansford's deflected free-kick reduced the arrears with eleven minutes still to play. Nerves were eventually calmed when Bould latched on to a clearance to round Woolfe to claim his third, and there was still time for Small to almost grab a sensational fourth but his volley from twenty yards was well saved.

Foxhole (4-3-3): James Prynn; Owen Curtis, Reece Davies, Zach Smith-Brokenshire, Angel Coates; Aaron Beresford, Nathan Allen, Dan Ball; Courtney Rowe, Chris Kilbey, Cam Bidgood. Subs: Benno Bould, Levi Kerrigan, Josh Small, Jake Couch.

Liskeard: Bradley Agar, Dan Bentley, Gary Carpenter, Jacob Broadwater, Luke Gale, Joel Mitchell, Joe Moynan, Jayden Hansford, Tre Hansford, Tom Upton, Ashley Welsh. Subs: Josh Woolfe, Maddox Nicholls, Kieran Owen, Rocco Elliott, Leon Martin.

Well played the super Foxes. Good luck to Liskeard. Many thanks to Allen Johns and the home lino.
