Big Al, you were born bitter. You love it when Falmouth lose, and hate it now that they have good support. You were offered match day hospitality and turned that down. You are not a football supporter, just a sad person who is not missed at Bickland Park.
Spot on Quiet Man 👍💛🖤

Most of the F Troop have paid hard earned money becoming V Presidents and following Town and are reinvigorating local football and genuine football players would enjoy the challenge of playing in the atmosphere they create, as for suggesting they receive free beer I suspect a few more joining the throng this Saturday
Yes indeed and all the vice presidents fees has gone directly in to helping ground improvements at bickland 🖤💛

Falmouths attendances on the up unlike most clubs , jealousy is a terrible thing !
As for free alcohol ?😂😂😂
As for Hooligans ? 😂😂😂
Might not be at the top of the table but the club is being run properly by good local people and there is a real positive vibe around the place right now !

Blaise park looked great again today Paul, credit to all involved , up the town !

Feelings have always run high at matches, it has been goingon ever since I first started watching. Surely this is part of the atmosphere. The silent atmosphere has existed at Bickland for years so a little bit of vocal support I would think will liven the place up.
Never thought I'd say it but very well said big al 👍

I was told they are even having a few free drinks thrown their way as the management & players are desperate for them to keep attending !
Oh dear ,making fun of handicap and amputees, bad taste that and shows a lack of class and respect 😥

Baldy - think you were a bit generous with ‘scrappy’. The first half was dire for two quality teams - Falmouth continually going for a long ball (their mid field might as well have sat on the bench) and St Austell having more possession but doing little with it - the goal was a great shot but from nothing really. Second half was more entertaining but again, I expected better. Hayden’s goal was solo effort using his blistering pace (perhaps the goalie will be disappointed though) and that should have been game over. Falmouth made three changes, players I assume are carrying injuries as imo should have started - and the game became end to end. Falmouth goal was, as you say, a stroke of luck from a deflected header on the edge of the box by Cam which completely wrong footed Chippy, shortly followed by an outstanding save by him. Both teams could have scored but for wayward finishing.
The throw in incident was a goal - from my angle two players went for the ball and it clipped the defenders head before bouncing into the goal - but ref never saw it and then strangely gave a throw in again - if he thought it never touched anyone (which clearly he thought it had until surrounded by the entire St Austell team) then it should have been a goal kick.
St Austell have won 4 out of 4 and with Andrews, H Turner and Hooper leading their line are going to score goals, but you could tell by their celebrations this was not a great performance.
As for the F Troop, they clearly went beyond ‘banter’ as I have never seen Giler react the way he did - we was ready to take them all on, even after the game finished. Very disappointing.
Still think both teams will be there or there abouts but their coaches will be having a few words at training.
If you are referring to your number 4 what was he thinking walking over to ftroop and telling them what they should or should not say , not wise at all in my opinion!

Did not think they had any hierarchy. If it is that lucrative put it towards the ground
If you looked inside the ground one day you would see alot of money has been spent on the old lady during the summer with alot more to come 👍Theres people there now thinking positive doing good things for our towns club !

Incidentally I loved your attempted rendition of the Icelandic Clapping Chant, needs a little more practice me thinks and your drummer needs to get his timing right lol.
Dont hold you're breathe about supporters flooding back !
Yes our chants need a bit of work , apart from" truro give us a song " I think that one was perfect👍

What a game at Bickland Park this afternoon. Town went one up in the first half and could have scored more before half time, but wasted several chances. It was a game where you thought that one goal was never going to be enough to secure a win, and so it proved.
After Saltash had a player sent off for a second yellow card, Town kept pressing forward in search of a second goal, which eventually came from Jack Bowyer after the Ashes keeper blocked a dead cert from Marcello Jones. Into stoppage time it looked like this would be the final score, but the visitors pulled a goal back. Town held out to secure a win but man of the match must go yo the Saltash keeper who pulled off a string of saves to keep the score down. But for his heroics and also some woeful shooting it could have perhaps been double figures for Falmouth, but in the end it was good to get 3 points.
For the neutral, it was a great game of football but for the home supporters it was quite nerve racking. That's what makes it a great game.
Agreed, value for money at bickland again !👍

Not especially , the way the club is run now and obviously a couple of cup finals has helped but the fans have been fans for years spanning several decades and everyone has said its fantastic to reunite old friendships ,the club have bought into it but unfortunately no free beer and encouraged it , with social media it's taken off, everyone wont make every game but long may it continue !🖤💛
