The north coast is not a happy hunting ground for the league
Number13
Division 1 now has only 12 teams. What will happen with promotion and relegation now?
MattP
No relegation with 2 teams having pulled out. Suspect they may not be the last
St John
Might be forced into one league at this rate!

Total respect for anyone that tries to keep things going at any club when everything is stacked against you.Last season Launceston had terrible problems and Keith had a lot of sleepless nights.Best of luck to Richard it is totally not his or anyones fault that players dont have the stomach for it anymore. Agree, but neither are the teams who are at full strength plus some midweek, then can't raise a side on a Saturday when their first teams play.... Agree in principle Dave, replace them with what, Sides that came up from the duchy league in previous years St Dennis Sticker Goldolphin have done fantastically.Others survived just ,but as soon as teams get older and players either drop back or stop playing no one replaces them.Winning leagues and cups in lower leagues seems to be more attractive than playing at a higher level. Not saying that is wrong at all, just that is how it is.The whole standard has dropped and will continue to go that way,Local football is in a mess. unclebuckthebaker
Gotta agree with the comments re Richard Pinkus, in my experience one of the nicest guys on the local football circuit over many years and always got a great welcome from him when Saturday afternoons used to take me to Bude. As has been said previously though, what's been going on there recently is an unfortunate sign of the times. Good luck Richard in the future.
