  1. Or just fold for a couple of years and come back somewhere in the middle that is easy.
  2. Not so there is an arrangement with the duchy league that ecpl will only take 2 teams a season. So that would be the top of each division.Having said that the county FA will decide in the end.Currently ecpl have 13 constitution says 16 that can only be changed at an agm .There will be promotion subject to ground grading for 2 from the ecpl to st perrins. No regation from st perrins and with st cleer now becoming liskeard,i presume they may well try to get into the st perrins then could be looking for Summary 13 now losing 2 maybe 3 leaves 10 so could need 6 from somewhere.Complete mess .Stay as 14 promote 3 2 from duchy and probably and then chuck the rest in the mix.The mix will include wadebridge town who are an under 18 but do have a nice ground just saying. in conclusion at this moment st coloumb lanivet polzeath southgate north pertherwin are not in the ecpl.
  3. st teath v roche. St teath took the lead on 44 minutes with a shot from the edge of the box from ollie edwards that got a slight deflection to wrong foot the keeper. The second half resulted in a game that was fairly even for the most part until st teath increased the lead with a 30 yrd free kick from brown that beat the keeper all ends up.The third st teath goal came after a good team move involving adam clemence and darren burden with the latter slotting home from a tight angle. Then a change of fortunes a penalty to roche and a disputed off side that was not given and it was 3 2 .Thanks to the roche supporters that in there opinion it was offside .After that a heated discussion involving the roche captain although i couldn't see or hear what it was about.Ref called both captains together and game was abondoned. To be totally fair to the ref his report will be with the county Fa
  4. Remember taking a St Teath to bugle pitch in 1996 played Bodmin res in a duchy league semi final second leg ,we won 21 nil over the to legs and then beat padstow in the final. Also remember the year before that the late Chris Slateford played for us at St teath and turned out for Bugle in a senior cup match as our game was cancelled that day. They played a top sww league team and won by the odd goal Chris getting the goal .Bugle where in the ecpl at this point and there manager was Mike Dowling who was an ex team mate of Chris at bugle .Chris father in law ,neils grandad was heavily involved with the club.
  5. No Travelling to plymouth then from ecpl sides marjons and mount gould to play each other every week maybe .Only joking lads
  6. St Teath v st cleer off so no big win for st cleer today Foul throw
  7. Well battled at st dom today .The st teath boys gave us everything against a good side .Great to catch up with ken harvey and afew old friends .Very sad to report that 17 year old Toby Elson has suffered a broken leg.
  8. Godolphin have withdrawn feel very sorry for Tania hard day for her for sure.
  9. Tania at Godolphin has done all she can for her club and i am sure she didn't expect such an exodus .There are so many clubs suffering the same problems and if it wasn't for the efforts of some very loyal old heads and some very enthusiastic younger lads i am pretty sure St Teath would have been in the same boat.We took a decision to stay in the ecpl after finishing bottom the previous season .We could have taken a place in the new St perrins league at the expense of St Mawgan or St Dennis res.Godolphin and a few others filled the gaps left by clubs taking the opportunity to move up from the lower duchy leagues into the new county formed league. That is where the problems started ,a league that was to be county wide with 16 teams which did not get the support because of the travelling involved suddenly split east and west with 32 teams The result of that was panic at ecpl meetings and 18 teams elected with 2 from plymouth (not there fault) and teams having to adapt to a bigger senior league. The St perrins league also have teams that have not been able to field teams Wadebridge St Dennis .It is so easy to dismiss the efforts of some to keep clubs alive but perhaps now that the St Perrins is up and running then things may settle down a bit and well all realise that the majority of us are village sides.Be a great help if the FA let kids play from 14 again maybe
  10. Hopefully it wont cause any issues but have decided to let the game St Teath v Marjons go ahead .Pitch 85% ok a couple of bad places that will cut up badly .Explained to Marjons and have agreed to give it a go.
  11. St teath v verryan off sorry lads did try but the rain today has made it unplayable.Verryan ground no better so couldn't do that either.
  12. Hi Dave they are football league programmes,i have started to go though another batch and there are a few local rugby ones .There are so many not sure what i will come across but if anything local comes up then i will post them here.
  13. Morning all. Just putting it on line to see if there may be any interest in some of the hundreds of football programmes that i have stored around the house .Avery close friend lost his fight against cancer back in the spring and i am now sorting through various programmes of which there are many .Some go back to the early 70s and more up to date.I am not looking to profit from any of these so if any one is looking for any thing and i have it then postage is all it will take. There are so many to big a list to put on here at the moment .There may be someone out there who would like to have a look at all of it or maybe there is perhaps a charity bookshop or similar that may well benefit. Some of the teams i have come across at the minute are hull city leicester city exeter arsenal blackburn swansea west ham gillingham bury swansea coventry bury spurs fulham ipswich.chesterfield luton oxford .Any help to get these to someone that might appreciate them or help any sort of charity then that would be great,i am sure my mate Dale if he was around would appreciate it for sure.
  14. St Teath would be able to accommodate if that suits you.07980-749275.
  15. Havent a clue what to do at st teath that is the honest answer
  16. the ecpl is now to be the new st perrins league east, the rest will be made up of anyone that is left,Why the hell didn't the county just say ecpl premier will be st perrins step 7 east and the west made up of trelawney in the first place.Or maybe better still do just leave them as they are and call them step 7. Why the hell would the ecpl now want Devon Teams in to make up numbers with all the other senior leagues above them now all cornish as the county wanted. Most ecpl will now apply for the st perrins league i presume and a few will eventually fall away ,because if they stay where they are then trips to devon will once again become the norm.Time to finish now for sure. This is not the ecpl fault at all the county has to look at what they have done 18 teams to start with now 32 at such a late stage. What a total shambles.

  19. Works for clubs with loads of players ,not many of them about. At the moment more roll in and roll out clubs around.Football at this level is DEAD.
  20. I can’t see how all the fixtures can be done . It probably is time for some sensible decisions . What they are haven’t got a clue . Very hard for everyone . Only a suggestion but maybe ecpl could now hold meeting propose regional divisions for next season and get that agreed . That would result in no promotion for this season . New divisions formed east and west split as proposed previously .. Agree the rule changes for cups etc which would be not to hard . That would leave cup completions and divisional champion for this season to be sorted .
