Hopefully they can regroup and rebuild a successful future for the club. Best wishes to all the crew at Nanpean :-)

Great set and always a great place to go and play but with lack of players atound these days it is probally whats best. Hopefully they come back soon and start over. Nice.pitch not being used now. Paul Collings
Great shame. I've had the pleasure of visiting many. many times over the years in both EC & Duchy Leagues. Great facilities and always a warm welcome. See them back in the Duchy Lge next season maybe - that would be good. Best wishes to all involved in the rebuilding. frogfinder
Real shame to see the demise of another great Cornish club, excellent facilities along with a fantastic pedigree. Best wishes for the future feel sure they will come again
Bruegel the Elder
A sad interlude in the history of a great club. I however remember them for years being the team who would always win the league but never take promotion. Is this the result of such stagnation? If so there are many other teams across Cornwalls leagues who should take note! Nevertheless, a disappointment for Nanpeans and football in mid-Cornwall. St John
Sad news for local football, a dismal reflection on today's society I'm afraid.

Adlestrop
Only 2 weeks into the season,no fewer than 4 senior clubs have bitten the dust: Nanpean;Vospers Oak Villa ;Penryn; and Dartington/Totnes.I would be interested to know just how many other senior set-ups have folded since the formation of the Penninsular League.Memory obliges me to think of Foxhole;Dartmouth;St.Dominick; and Edgecumbe. I'm sure there must be more-perhaps Mike Odgers can shed some light. A sign of things to come,I fear!

Cornishfootball
Edgcumbe took over at Millbrook (pretty much) and I believe they still have an U18s, the rest of the teams yes absolutely. Shame Truro don't have a SWPL team as it can be a good way through to higher football, a real shame
Magic Mike
Cut my teeth in the duchy premier league and the old cornish guardian ECPL at nanpean. Great club always looked after me and sad to see this on here. Alan craddock always made sure I was sorted out when I played there in my younger and slimmer days.
