Dave Marks Posted February 18, 2023 Report Share Posted February 18, 2023 Heard this morning Dave Darlington passed away in the week I must confess I haven’t seen him for some time . Just wanted to say what a real credit he was to not only Four lanes Afc but to football locally as a whole . It was Dave who persuaded me to become a manager much to the annoyance of refs & others but in our first season we retained the Lge cup in Fal Hel 2 & the following season won the treble, that man could make you feel ten feet tall & I can honestly say it was a privilege to of had him not only run the line but have advice off of not only a football man but a true gent RIP Dave . Many of the Praze team had previously been with four lanes, so it was only fair.
