Buckland Jim
Just seen this on Twitter: Club announcement* The club can announce that Club Chairman Mark Pratten has stepped down from his role and will leave the club with immediate effect. The club will make a further statement in due course to announce his replacement moving forward. Millbrook AFC

Footy Detective
Love Millbrook , really hope this isn’t a sign of Western League capitulation? But glad to see in that statement that are moving forward. 🙏🏻
Xanie25
Very sad day for Millbrook a true hero at the club on and off the pitch. As a supporter I can only thank Mark for all that he has done and what a remarkable person he is and he will be sorely missed by many JonColenzo and MattP
sportsman10
Is a tough one. The millbrook story been a successful one up to now a close group of players on pretty much no budget getting promoted unfortunately with that comes added cost and added interest in your players. they did struggle the back end of the season and you wonder if the travelling on small squad took its toll. with ever increased costs , fuel , electric etc you do need deep pockets to run any club ontop of that the players see players from other teams playing a lower standard earning 3 times more with less travel and there is the issue. hope milbrook do well but you have ti worry for them next season. Xanie25
The problem is Millbrook has been reliant on the same core of players and the same volunteers and unfortunately it does not have the support of the local community and it does not have the finances to attract players and the location is not the easiest to get too. It is hard for Millbrook they need a large squad as many players cannot commit every match due to work etc. With spiralling costs especially the travelling and fuel. It will be hard for small clubs to keep afloat this season. Fingers crossed for Millbrook sportsman10

Joe1970Johnson
I don’t know the guy, but a good friend of mine does and he raves about the work he has done for Millbrook. What I can say is that I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 match day experiences there last season and I am sure he will be a very hard act to follow.
