Watched this game today, Helston deserved to win, very lively up top and pressed Bodmin back 3 very welll in first half.  The future, not so sure. Helston prob had 3 players under 25!

Great win for Helston.  Always liked Steve Massey, think his vision and ethos has been good for Cornish football. Thought that he was prematurely let go by Truro, would havd been intetesting to see how his project would havd played out.

Good things starting to happen  at Helston, just hope that they can keep this side together and that the bigger spenders don't pick these players off.

Watched a real professional performance from Helston on Saturday.

Bodmin looked very lethargic from the word go, players don’t look interested, players looking unfit, lacked massive hunger. Helston on the other hand looked like it was their first game of the season, had a real hunger and desire to win everything.

That said, they had lady luck on their side for a few goals but were worthy winners and could have been more than 5.

Bodmin need a massive clear out and a fresh injection of young hungry players. Some players on show Saturday clearly can’t cut it. Surprised to see Jake Miller there, good signing and hopefully a few more like that to follow.

Times look good at Helston, their youth policy looks to be coming up trumps.

MOM - Matt Bye.
