He was there... sat in his car.

4 defensive mistakes cost Penzance today. Onwards to Storm away next week

Absolute pleasure to referee st Buryan 2cnds v wendron 4ths

behaviour from both sides was a credit to there clubs and the league

Impeccable all round

st Buryan 2-1wendron

Credit where credit is due this ref was so laid back it was untrue lol let the game flow as much as he could which to me is what a ref should do, he played advantage as much as possible which is is brilliant for a neutral. Well refereed sir.

Junior cup
Gwin 5-2 Lizard
Deserved win for us yesterday against a battling side. We took the lead through a well taken goal from Marcus Bawden. We then conceded a sloppy goal through a lapse of concentration. We then took the lead through Billy Foster after great work from Jordan Brown putting it on a plate for him.
H/T 2-1
Second half started and we were still quite lacklustre unlike the last few weeks but grounded out the game. Foster getting himself another screamer of a goal, 30 odd yards on the turn, top corner. Quality goal. Again we made it more difficult for ourselves by conceding another goal to make it 3-2. Amar Eim Jr. then gave us the 2 goal cushion with a neat finish. Derek Pickin got himself on the scoresheet at the end of the game to round of the game.
We wasn’t at our best today but still got the result we wanted and get us into the next round.
MOM Marcus Bawden, a much improved performance from him today, didn’t put a foot wrong!

Trelawny 4

Falmouth Utd 7 Probus Res 5

I knew a 2nd league win was on the cards as the standard of football played by Utd recently has been pretty good and the improvement made by many of the young lads has been huge. 4 - 1  up at half time and we must have thought the job was done, numerous individual mistakes momentarily let Probus back into the game but we took advantage of the space left behind whilst they pushed forward and scored a few more goals and saw out the game. Our man of the match was Callum Bernard whose energy today was boundless and he also scored a hat-trick. However we're all glad his bicycle kick went wide or we'd never hear the end of it.
