gingerninja
I'm an Ivor fan, more filling less pastry. Warren's used to be good but they've shot up in price recently. There's a local butcher in Plymstock Broadway who does the best pasties though. Fresh local ingredients. Tis a beaut

motherwontletmegoargyle
Try the pasty shop across the road from their ground if you get Argyle away in the cup. Crimping question. On the top or down the side?

No argument. 3 hours ago, Rayvon said: Who is it for you the Bald One a Ron or an Ivor, I used to get a dock workers down Rons in the past, biggest pasty I have ever seen in my life, could never eat it in one go. As kids, my sisters and myself once measured the pasty our mother cooked for our fathers tea. 22 inches!!! My father was 5ft 9" and cleared the lot!!! Magpie291
Usually get a Rowes or Warren's when back home in Cornwall. We now have a Warrens in central Bristol which is good. Can't beat a good home made pasty though. My mum used to do a 'plate pasty' for us. Looked like a pie but with the traditional Cornish pasty ingredients.
