cornishteddyboy Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Is there anyone from Falmouth Town who wants to either confirm or squash a rumour that has started doing the rounds and I've had whispered to me. If false it needs to be stopped now as the longer and further it goes around the more it will be believed. I've heard that Falmouth Town are considering pulling out of the Combo League. True or False.

cornishteddyboy Posted March 12, 2013 Author Report Posted March 12, 2013 No. You know how rumours spread, so the quicker it is squashed the better for Fal Town. why have you heard something as well down your way?
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted March 12, 2013 Report Posted March 12, 2013 Haven't heard anything here. Know their struggling for a team on occasions with a few oldies turning out, didn't think it was that bad.Maybe theirs some truth in Falmouth not having any teams next season....their are murmerings - really struggling.Personally I think they will be alright.

j1mmy_t Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 Surely a club as big as Falmouth can find 11 to turn out each week? Even if it meens bringing some younger players in?
patch Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 A little birdy with a white pick up tells me that jarvo is more interested in the red and black combo team!
Mike Odgers Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 With Truro City in talks with Plymouth Argyle (and others) regarding ground share from maybe as early as next season, the SWPL(1) Truro City Reserves team will be looking for a local club to groundshare.Could that be Bickland Park lol-Help! Tin Hat On(Meaning no Combo team)
Local Footie fan Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 Only If considerable investment was made in the pitch Mike!?! Already has three teams on bickland, way above its playing carrying capacity, so four would make it even more unsustainable!
Guest Monty Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 I believe Terry Jarvis and Martin Magee are the new management of Town Reserves next season.
