    Rob,

Everyone is entitled to an opinion of course. My only gripe was you using the new F-Troop members to hammer home your point about only adults in the clubhouse. Its not their fault. Lots of the new troopers were regulars back in the 70's & 80's. We are expanding numbers at a rapid rate and have lots of new ideas when covid is over. We need to be encouraging new members, that's how we will take the club to a new level, which we all want.

There has also been a very small minority who seem to have pulled away since the reformation of the FBB/F-Troop, that's their choice. There has even been a few moans and groans about the boom box in the clubhouse. Can you believe that ? The boom box is used 1 hour before a home game in the clubhouse once every 2 weeks to get the atmosphere going !! for the remaining 13 days and 23 hours a fortnight it's boom box free. Not intrusive at all in my book.

But it is what it is and the clubs in a brilliant position with a cracking young, local team, potentially big crowds, Bickland Park looks amazing, thanks to many people including  a few of the new returning F-troopers who rebuilt the Packet End, rebuilt the dugouts and built a press box, plus all the painting that's been done around the ground. And this was all largely financed by the FBB/F-TROOP REUNITED GROUP doing a fund raiser among members.

Nothing personal Rob, we can agree to disagree but hopefully we will be together celebrating a famous Vase victory this Saturday. Jeff. UTT

Absolutely mate , not everyone agrees with everything in life !

I've said before ,the ground looks great and it's a great place to be again thanks to alot of hardwork from alot of people, the way we all clubbed together for ground improvements etc was fantastic ,see you Saturday general 👍

Oh dear. Reading some of the above comments is sad. All i know is in my book every single F-Trooper is equal and valued. Whether its their first game or they haven't missed a game for 50 years. As long as they come and support Falmouth Town that's good enough for 99.5% of us. But you will always get some fans who think they are better than others i guess. What a load of old codswallop !!!

The decision for adults only in the clubhouse for the Vase game next Saturday was made by the committee of Falmouth Town AFC. That's their job. There's nothing anyone can do about it.

They have their reasons for their decisions so we all need to just turn up and support Falmouth Town to another famous victory. UTT

Blimey Jeff i disagreed with one club decision not stole the crown jewels 😉 maybe I shouldn't of aired my opinion on here maybe I should but regardless FTFC have and will always have my full support especially the current regime and you for what you've done to help rejuvenate the club.

Keep up the good work 👍

That’s just it - you can still be spectators, cheering on your team to win.
As a supporter of the club, in these troubled times when none of us can have what we really want, I would have thought its what happens on the pitch which is more important.

Yeah, ideally everyone would be able to go in the clubhouse afterwards, but unfortunately that isn’t possible at the moment. Disappointing for this reason they’re not going to cheer their team on. Shame for the young ones too.

Absolutely we can still be spectators (not guaranteed with 300 limit and everyone in clubhouse on the beer from lunchtime paying early )

I've been taking my 10 year old to games since he was old enough home and away as have a few others and half hour or so in the clubhouse has always been part of our matchday routine, we've been pushed aside so spectators who've been going for a few months can get on the pxxs , like I said leaves a very bad taste and my boy now doesn't feel welcome at our local club .

I am not surprised, Falmouth Town seem to have an attitude problem against spectators for some reason, unless you are one of the elite few.

    How ridiculous!

I'm more disappointed than angry , I fully appreciate we are in unprecedented times and it is only the clubhouse but to claim to be a family club then put this rule in place for some of the most loyal fans really leaves a bad taste!

  5. The club said for the last game in the vase against abingdon as a one off kids were not allowed in  to get more beer drinking adults in to generate more income which I get but we were there when the clubhouse was empty and 60/70 in the ground , my child is impeccably behaved by the way ! Like I said we'll be taking our cash elsewhere next Saturday!

Just for letting off a flare you’ve got to be joking, it probably livened up a boring afternoon.

    Boring afternoon?

I know these people are not St Blazey fans but there behaviour was disgusting and embarrassing  ,from singing songs about paedophiles in the clubhouse in front of kids, flares ,throwing bottles at cars , their banner and using threatening language you lot are a disgrace  . Its Falmouth Town not Millwall away ffs !!!

Easy to say when you don’t have charred flesh!

And what are you going to do about this pair of criminals? Are you going to report them, ban them or just cry a bit? I have already stated above that the team and majority of supporters are blameless and tarred by the behaviour of the two (or however many), but your comments seem to imply that there  might be a wider problem within the club.

    Cry a bit ?? I😂😂😂

Wider problem within the club ? Please explain ?

The Falmouth ultras. Ha. Jesus it’s village football hardly rangers v Celtic. Really a load of old blokes running down local high streets waving flares about in places like saltash and callington. 😂

what ever happened  to just enjoying a pasty and pint watching the game.

We would double the gates at callington and saltash (did they get fined for proper flares )😂👍💛🖤

On another thread a photo taken by Uwdi at Sticker on 5th October showed eleven F. Troop watching the game.
As we have stated earlier on this thread, the true supporters of a club will always find a way to follow them home or away, win or lose.
Because your team may be playing what is seen to be a weaker team is no excuse for not supporting them if you are a true supporter .
Good luck Falmouth this weekend, we will be looking out for your result.👍

Does it matter if 11 or a 100 turn up ? If 11 turn up its 11 peoples money which I'm sure any club wouldn't turn down in this tough climate for local football, guess some people cant see a positive and like to have a pop 🙄

Great piece of self-promotion there Jeff! Anyone with more than one brain cell will read this and discover the hidden cliché which you have inadvertently demonstrated - does 'Sing when you're winning' sound familiar? Do you really expect us to believe that the F Troop disbanded because you were 'growing up' with families and not because the club, like others have all suffered, were going thru a lean spell. Where were you when Bickland sadly looked very tired and was no longer the epicentre of Cornish football? Nowhere to be seen I've been told by some of your comrades. Anyway- now Westy and Millsy are doing a fantastic job both on and off the pitch you are back front and centre - coincidence?? Always had great experiences when playing down at Falmouth Town and good to see them gain some new success - exactly the same as Helston. I'm sure you will receive a warm welcome at Helston Cricket Club who are great friends with the football club and that welcome will be extended when you visit Kellaway Park - apologies for it being small but small but lessons have been learnt from other's mistakes. Enjoy your day out win or lose!!

There may well be a bit of sing when your winning as it took a cup final or two for this reunion to pick up momentum .From a personal point of view ive been taking my 9 year old boy to bickland for the last few years and he loves it especially ftroop/fbb! I was coached by Westy senior back in the day and watched junior westy grow up doing so and im now good mates with both westys . I guess my point is Andy is one of us not backed by a massive budget like others at this level and has recruited local young players .The chairman also is one of us and has done an amazing job and helped us stay at Bickland .

Going back to sing when you're winning ,FTFC at present arent winning every week and probably wont for now,but it wont stop us Ftroop meeting up with old mates for the odd football match and having a sing song ! 💛🖤
