Penryn v Newquay is off as Newquay are unable to raise a side.

As Manager of Newquay I can only offer my apologies to Penryn and the league but having contacted over 40 players I only had 6 available. I have spent many hours last night and from 7.30 this morning trying to raise a team but as you can see from the figures below I've exhausted the list.

Working: 14 /Injured: 11 /Unavailable: 13

Carharrack 1, St Ives 1

Day, 0 - 1, 22mins, Wilton 1 - 1, 72 mins.

So carharrack now need 2 points from their last 2 games!

Very entertaining game between 2 good sides. Carharrack will be regretting three good 1st half chances - crossbar, cleared off line, crossbar! Another crossbar in the 2nd half plus a fine save from a great Wilton shot in the dying minutes. St Ives' goal a fine finish from probably their only clear chance of he game. A bit too much air-ball, otherwise a game that deserved more than the 70 or so spectators.

They need a three points to be sure. Pl 36, 92 points, Ludgvan Pl 34, 82 points or a possible 94. Carharrack need 3 points not two.

Holmans scorers in order, Jack Mankee, Reece Monteith, Adam Selley and Dan Park.

Great team performance with Jeremy Paul taking over at the helm today and making some really effective changes. Jack Mankee in particular had a great game at centre forward bringing people into play and making some good runs/passes. Nice to end our run of losses finally :yahoo:

Not a bias write up at all...

Reno behind those changes you'd imagine if you mean to starting line up, not ones during the game though unless he had him on the phone? or via video link long shot but possible

Well yeah don't wanna speak for the management, I'm sure Reno and Jez will have picked the team together. Some of the changes were forced with players on holiday etc Just trying to give Jez some credit because I never give him a mention on here, but he is clearly a tactical genius

Perranwall 3-1 Hayle  , well started off the better and had a goal ruled out for offside , the usual cry went up of cheating but you give what you see , Well had most of the ball  but Hayle hitting on the counter , Hayle took the lead with  a well taken goal by Liam and were now on the front foot , second half Well started well and kept the pressure on and equalised then had a penalty which was converted , Hayle were lucky not to have conceded a pen earlier as a shirt pull was missed on the blind side of the ref ,  Hayle were reduced to 10 when a second yellow , which was right was shown by Adam Price who overall had a good game Hayle were then caught out late on with a third , Perranwall deserved the win today but after a good run Hayle came up short today much to the disappointment of the management , in the second half  it was all well  , not a vintage performance from the team in green today ,  a few words between benches were exchanged today but after the game fairly amicable , nice to meet Andy again today another unsung hero of club football doing the thankless task of running the line so 22 can get their fix of football , season nearing the end , just hope for Hayle the team management stay together as slowly apart from today they are moving in the right direction .

Same as when Mr Trust was an Illogan supporter, his team can't play badly. They used to call it Journalistic license, those of us in the real world call it B**L's**t.

You could also call it rose tinted glasses. If Mr Trust is a supporter he's going to be at least a little bit more sympathetic to the team he supports, don't you think? I can't recall him ever claiming to be a journalist :) Isn't it that blind romance that draws us to fandom in the first place? Unconditional love, true football support. No need to be so harsh man.

He didn't do report for Ludgvan as he wasn't there. But Ludgvan game was goal goal nothing happened.

@Sponge you could write a report on the game. You would be able to add striker missed header and st Ives played some great football and the lad who scored played really well. St.ives keeper made some cracking saves. As carharrack applied pressure after goal st Ives tried to counter but didn't make any chances of importance. feel free to add some more and I look forward to your report.
