Sadly the ref got injured Nigel . Ht 1-1. Kyle Marks for Holmans unsure who scored for Saints right on ht . Replay soon although with both pitches likely unavailable due to cricket it may be decided on a neutral ground we will see .

No one about qualified who could of took whistle for second half? Another midweek game to add for both teams

Hayle 2-1 Redruth United first half , Hayle created the better chances but for some wayward shooting and a couple of saves neither side really that they would score, second half two well taken goals by Liam and Cameron looked to have secured the points , but a shot was spilled by the Hayle keeper for Barry to tap in another chance fell late on to the same player whose well taken shot hit the post , it was not to be for Redruth to get an equaliser but Hayle could have added more , a good competitive game  pitch looked great again , Alan Hoon was the ref and was his usual efficient self , great to catch up with Postman pat another stalwart of local football  .

I don't think @marksy said anything wrong? If people wanted to know who the referee was, it's literally a case of a few clicks!

Naming referees isn't a bad thing because it's so easy to find out who they are. What is bad sometimes is how things are out across about them.

@cornishteddyboy why delete my comments?!?

I'm always the first to stick up for referees, as everyone's aware. I just don't think Marksy said anything out of order (unsure why my comment was deleted considering all i said was "have you raised the issue with the league secretary and/or Ray Brown"). That's just protocol.

Most of the time referees are slated on here for the way they handled a game. Which I do not like. But, i cam understand Marksy's frustration. I've managed teams where one of my players has limped off with a "bad" injury, then the next day they've played two games in a row! It does leave a bitter taste.

I'm not getting at the referee in question, he's a good lad. But i can understand the frustration here.

No naming referees please or I will hide or delete the posts.

Are you doing that for league officers as well, ctb ? I have cone in for a bit of censorship recently. We Corbynistas are used to it as the rdtablishment takrs away all our traditional freedoms. Anyway, I won't mention any names. Helston-centric. Antediluvian, holfs grudges for forty years,looks like the infantry from Mordor....go on, censor that !
