BIG AL Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 I UNDERSTAND THAT THE GROUND IS SOLD SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF IMPROVING IT AT THIS TIME ?
Denty01 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 I UNDERSTAND THAT THE GROUND IS SOLD SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF IMPROVING IT AT THIS TIME ? Surely even you aren't that thick. The ground still has to be maintained up until we move. Pitch has to be repaired and prepared for next season, touching up the changing rooms and around the playing area. What do you propose Big Al, we don't bother to cut the grass for the next 18 months to 2 years as we will be moving.
leedsunited Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Might change your fortunes denty if you didnt cut it! All the best for the new season, whether its long or short grass bickland park still has an aura about the place
leedsunited Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Maybe big al could pop in & lend a helping hand
Suzie Chow Posted June 4, 2014 Author Report Posted June 4, 2014 We need as many invertebrates as possible to aeriate the pitch......all worms welcome!! Just for the record Big Al.......the ground is not SOLD Please feel free to join us on the 14th. See you there.
pointers Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 Good luck to all at Falmouth this season I'm sure the future is bright!! Any news on signings for the first team? Players committed from last seasons squad?
St Darren Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 Will always be the club to play for in Cornwall. It's a shame that money has ruined local level football as given choice to play anywhere then Falmouth town should be at the top of everyone's list

He played an important role down the right hand side last season so this for me is a positive move for the future. Im sure everyone will join me in saying good luck to ed.
Mike Odgers Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 Ed made most appearances (39)for Falmouth last season missing only one game from 40 played.others-Tom Whipp (last season Captain) 37 (3 games suspended)Joe Cooper 37Dan Richardson 36Danny Burrows 32Andy Westgarth 32Ross Pope 30

footiemad Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 I have spoken to couple of the people involved behind the scenes and assistant Gary Pascoe this weekend and they to thought Ed had been named captain? Must be some wires crossed. I for one hope Ed is the captain, last season he was Mr reliable.

Very strange Footiemad as I have just come off the phone to Gary and he states he hasn't spoken to anyone this week end about football or Ed. I am beginning to wonder the validity of your sources. Maybe pm me and we can have a chat but up to now your information and sources have been unreliable on both quotes

Phil Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 Any chance of a new roof on the little stand on the far side? Thats where I usually watch from when I'm down bickland and a few evening games last season I spent most of the match keeping an eye on the flapping galvanise! Happy to donate towards the galvanise sheets if it helps.
Follower Posted June 8, 2014 Report Posted June 8, 2014 Ed Timmins captain? No respect towards officials, lack of pace and the leadership skills of a traffic cone
footiemad Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 Is ed Timmins a different player in the running for the captaincy? Thanks for your input Terry Huddy much appreciated.
