somersetspur Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 I have been told.Sherwood has been sacked.????????????????????????
Mangle Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Oh no, Sherwood (or Agent Tim to us Gooners) was doing a great job.
Mangle Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Rumours have spread over Twitter that Tim Sherwood is set to be sacked as manager of Tottenham Hotspur, after having been at the centre of a dressing room fight in the aftermath of their defeat to Liverpool on Sunday. After another lacklustre display, tempers reportedly flared in the dressing room following the full-time whistle and Sherwood is claimed to have thrown a punch at a currently unnamed player. Although it is reported elsewhere to have been Dawson.
Brianmooreshead Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 If it's true that he's punched Dawson that's indefensible Everyone knows that Dawson can't defend himself !
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 I like Sherwood as our manager, should be punching a few more, and tossing half of them out. Keep him and let him sign his own team. We'll see.
isaac rosenberg Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Yeah, Tottenham are not used to having people who care about their results, are they ? Too many Seven Sisters Road drugs getting in with the prawn sandwiches if you ask me..... I'm sorry for Sherwood. Remember him fondly with Blackburn....a real winner ! We would have liked his spirit down St Just, he would've fitted in well. I expect Levy's roaming close-together eyes are already on a dodgy successor. Sherwood was wasted on the "Game Is About Glory Boys", he was honest, passionate and sincere, just like Arry used to be......
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Will we be seeing you on Tuesday ?
SteveG Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Ah, yes, the Spurs manager. Remind me again, who is it this week?
isaac rosenberg Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 Sadly, I have to go to work on Tuesday in Swindon so Kernick Road will be deprived of my line-running, with whichOxland Parc found itself so excited on Saturday......hope it's a good game won fairly by the best team, as long as they are wearing green........
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Decent game Isaac, best team won on the night ... ah well. Very good lino tonight for you boys, flagging like a good un, thought he was bringing a fleet of air liners down - trained em well ...eh!
isaac rosenberg Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Don't know what you mean, Older ! The only reasons the airliners come down is because Alan Edney is so tall his flag is up in the clouds; and they know your beautiful, manicured pitch is the smoothest landing site in Cornwall !Thank goodness for the Tinners, my only consolation.Class goal by the boy Pastore. Surprised Mouzel haven't put in seven days for him !Forest Green have gone kaput away from home and Chelsea, while perfectly capable of scoring two in the second leg, do not look impermeable at the back, unfortunately. Still think we have a better chance of getting in the semis than Man U,however !
somersetspur Posted April 7, 2014 Author Report Posted April 7, 2014 At last ,SSN reports Spurs will get a new manager in the summer.Old news.Remember where you heard it first.SOMERSETSPUR.
stevieb Posted April 7, 2014 Report Posted April 7, 2014 At last ,SSN reports Spurs will get a new manager in the summer.Old news.Remember where you heard it first.SOMERSETSPUR.. Arsene wenger
somersetspur Posted April 8, 2014 Author Report Posted April 8, 2014 As soon as it is leaked that Sherwood is to be replaced in the summer,Spurs turn on a champagne performance.
Mangle Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 Wow, and against the bottom club in the Premier League too. Incredible.
somersetspur Posted April 8, 2014 Author Report Posted April 8, 2014 Wow, and against the bottom club in the Premier League too. Incredible.YES Wow.We can hammer the rubbish sides as well.Just like you can.YES Wow .We can get hammered by the big clubs.Just like you can.YES Wow . We can win F£££ all.Just like you can.Do you get it Mangle.? Not much difference,is there.?
Mangle Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 Oh but there are differences. We are higher up the league and play in the premier European Cup competition year in year out, welcoming great European sides such as Bayern and Barcelona, not Dnipro and other "never 'eard of 'em" teams. And these are differences that I like!
Roy Keane is GOD!!! Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 southamptons manager has been linked with the spurs job!
Mangle Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 I loved the way he was giving the Lino a load of grief on Saturday, but still has to use an interpreter on MOTD interviews!!
somersetspur Posted April 9, 2014 Author Report Posted April 9, 2014 Oh but there are differences. We are higher up the league and play in the premier European Cup competition year in year out, welcoming great European sides such as Bayern and Barcelona, not Dnipro and other "never 'eard of 'em" teams. And these are differences that I like!Sums it up .Thats the best you can come up with for a success story.I rest my case.
MOUNTAINEER Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 No Levy in the crowd and Spurs score 5 maybe Levy is surplus to requirements.
stevieb Posted April 9, 2014 Report Posted April 9, 2014 Sherwood knew he was only temp trouble is when new manager / coach comes in the old guard usually gets the push being caretaker manager very rarely works out for the best and they give up a back room job , step up then get dumped , must be good compo though at spurs with the amount they pay out each season.
Mangle Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 SSS, you love "quoting" me by using quotes I never said. Where, and I mean where, did I say anything about a "success". Your arguments simply have no foundations, so you make up things. You cannot crack the wall, but hats off for trying. And you are trying, very trying.

Your arguments simply have no foundations, so you make up things. You cannot crack the wall, but hats off for trying. And you are trying, very trying.YAWN YAWN YAWN.Your team is s££t,and you know it.
somersetspur Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 If you think Im going to look back all of your posts to prove a point.Forget it Mangle. You are a blinkered Goon along with many others, that thinks being starved of success by your bloodsucking board is progress.Well whoopiiii, for you all.Suppose you will all disappear until next season if Wigan manage to win on Saturday.Lets hope so,mind you, suppose you will probably be able to turn it into a positive defeat.
Mangle Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 If my team is s££t as you put it, what is your team?
somersetspur Posted April 10, 2014 Author Report Posted April 10, 2014 If my team is s££t as you put it, what is your team?I think even you can work that out.
Mangle Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 We are not allowed to use such rotten, gutter and foul mouthed language I'm afraid. So we leave that to our imagination!
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted April 10, 2014 Report Posted April 10, 2014 I wouldn't say superb, brilliant, the best, and so on......is foul language ?
stevieb Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 I wouldn't say superb, brilliant, the best, and so on......is foul language ?. Older the older you get in your head spurs get better , ha ha better start searching for your marbles , or next manager?
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted April 12, 2014 Report Posted April 12, 2014 Roll on 75 years then,,,,eh
stevieb Posted April 16, 2014 Report Posted April 16, 2014 Who will be the next manager then spuds ? Or who do you want? Or another way who would want it after the turnaround of managers ?
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas Posted April 16, 2014 Report Posted April 16, 2014 I'd keep Sherwood. Let him build his own team, install a bit of his passion - he'd do alright.
stevieb Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 I'd keep Sherwood. Let him build his own team, install a bit of his passion - he'd do alright.he seems to be a throwback to the past were managers could give a rollicking to players and not have their agents crying out for a move , good luck to him but can't see levy having any of that , bet they have a manager lined up already
somersetspur Posted May 13, 2014 Author Report Posted May 13, 2014 Well you heard it first on here.A bit early ,maybe.
Brianmooreshead Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Never going to be a permanent thing - But - While you've got Levy there who is ? Blokes a disease
Roy Keane is GOD!!! Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Oh but there are differences. We are higher up the league and play in the premier European Cup competition year in year out, welcoming great European sides such as Bayern and Barcelona, not Dnipro and other "never 'eard of 'em" teams. And these are differences that I like! But Tottenham could be in that comp and still lose as well as you, so where is the difference in that?
Mangle Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 You're right Rob. Spurs and Arsenal are just the same. Why or how I thought there was a difference I'm not sure. Both teams constantly fail to win trophies. Just like all the other teams in the league, apart from Man City. Jeeeez, I see it now.
stevieb Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Good luck to Tim he will be snapped up very quickly he has been a breath of fresh air to the epl , the levy roadshow will be off again spurs like eastenders a soap opera awaiting the next episode

Mangle Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 I know, I know, always slow on the uptake me. From now on, we are one. No arguing about who is better or worse. None of us have won any trophies. We all failed. If I say your team is rubbish - then I am only calling my team rubbish too. It is soooo clear now. And the managers, what do they matter? They can only be any good if they win something. Without a trophy in the cabinet, all the same, failures. Some teams may get rid of their managers frequently when they continually fail, others keep hold of their managers because once upon a time, they did not fail. But now they do, but they keep hold of them, waiting to see if they can win something once again. But it does not happen.

Mangle Posted May 17, 2014 Report Posted May 17, 2014 Wow. Arsenal did win something this year. Well done Arsenal, 2014 FA Cup winners! A trophy. I guess Arsenal are not failures like Man Utd and Spurs and all those other teams.
stevieb Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Very quiet on the replacement for agent Tim in the media , perhaps they already have their man in place ?
