Duty281
Goals from Barry Hayles, Marcus Martin and Scott Walker saw Truro into the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. They didn't have it all their own way - Bournemouth were 2-1 up with 15 minutes left but Truro eventually saw them off. This now means an away trip to Gloucester on the 15th. Next up though is a home game to 5th placed Basingstoke in the Blue Square South on Saturday.

Only Falmouth Town have reached the First Round Proper - on two occasions. You're probably thinking of Porthleven and their heroic FA Vase runs a few years back! Dave Deacon
Whoops sorry Mike and all Falmouth fans. Too many g & ts while holidaying in Tenerife! For the record and to make amends, they hold the record for Cornish clubs in the FA Cup - "Best FA Cup performance: 1st round three times in 1962-63, 1967-68 and 1969-70." Good reason for low declared gate- Once the match officials have been paid the rest goes to the travel expenses of Bournemouth
