  1. Truro will be fine. They'll survive, Harvey back shortly and a few others returning - a lot of positives to take from the opening fixtures to date.
  2. Called this weeks ago. He ain't cut out for it at this level. Should've got Parkes in from the start.
  3. Parkways squad has not improved in the slightest this season (so far) they struggled at times last season and I can see them fighting for relegation this time round. before we start bashing the strikers lets look at their keeper! Not cut for it at this level. The saying goes, only as strong as your weakest player. A good keeper outweighs a good striker.
  4. It's clear throughout pre-season Falmouth lack a goal scorer. Losing their top scorer and not replacing him with the season only a matter of days away seems a risk.
  5. I predict that City will surprise a few people and finish in the top half. They appeared decent when I saw them frequently throughout preseason; I realise the opposition is all of inferior calibre, but you have to win what is in front of you, and they have done so easily.
  6. Purrington very good signing, must've been a decent offer to lure him away from Tiv. I can't see Harvey staying as no.1 all season, Parkes surely would've been the better option.
  7. Was expecting Helston to kick on from last season and go for a title run, not sure they're any better looking at results. A lot to play for yet!
  8. So sad, sign of the times unfortunately. They'll be back no doubt.
  9. No complaints on the ref for re the keeper and timewasting. 17 seconds to release the ball!
  10. Too manly leagues not enough players. Combo should be scrapped, merge those teams with the trelawny lot. Keep St pirans as it is. That would seem a good starting point.
  11. Good luck to JBE - Hasn't really got firing this season at Falmouth, hopefully he can take the form he had from last season to Mousehole!
  12. Good lord, Bude reserves. it's a kick-about! Shocking from all involved.
  13. The boy Walker is the difference, it's no coincidence they start picking up points when he is playing.
  14. Very difficult when you get many clubs fishing in the same pond, albeit a small one. Parkway have progressed through the ranks with the same core of players and this step-up looks to be one too far perhaps - I hope they can turn it around!
