I heard a rumour that Falmouth Town player Steve Hawke suffered a double broken leg in todays game, can anyone confirm this????

if it is the case then its such a shame as he`s one of the bets people i know, and a great player...

I heard it was the ankle -break,dislocation and torn ligaments

The paramedics arrived followed by road ambulance before deciding to request the Air Ambulance.

A very nasty injury which resulted in a 45 minute half time period.

Just spoke to Steve about 10 minutes ago and he's comfortable in hospital awaiting surgery this afternoon on a fracture dislocation of his left ankle.

A really likeable lad with loads of talent and like everyone else I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
