Wasn’t able to attend today but just seeing lees thoughts after. He seems to suggest that certain players missing have cost them the game maybe a slight dig. . I don’t know where jones.wright and Wilson were today. But Crago and lane suspended hasn’t helped.
the squad we all know isn’t strong enough and cat miss that many.
The only good news was Reece Thompson was very good apparently

Parkway 1 Hanwell 2

Parkway's mini unbeaten run brought to an end by a Hanwell side that came from behind after Alfie Moulden put the home side 1 up, to score twice and take all 3 points.

Not sure where your info came from but Hanwell took the lead on 45+3 with Parkway equalising on 45+9 through Moulden witn Hanwell retaking lead on 59 minutes.

Does anyone know what went on at the Hayes & Yeading match?

Hayes & Yeading scored 90+11. Poole then scored 90+13.

As for the score, there's a bit of a discrepancy. The Southern Premier League site says 5 - 3  to Hayes & Yeading. However Google is saying 3- 2

Never a good idea trying to read a Twitter feed on a particularly bouncy bus ride without your specs on. 🙄

Seen Hanwell once this season, that was against high flying Merthyr. Despite them being on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat, thought they were better than the scoreline suggested. Made some good signings in the summer, and improved from last season.

Great win for Tavy. Not the greatest performance, but something to build on. Bowker was good and made a difference when needed.

Yep, not a great performance but felt that was a big game for both clubs in terms of confidence.

Sets up a tie away to Mousehole on the 23rd.

Well seeing Lee full interview this morning it’s safe to say he blaming the missing players for the loss and he fuming they taking holiday during the season . Suggesting contracted players shouldn’t be taking holiday.
Doesn’t sound great first time I’ve really seen him dig out certain players like that

Having seen their team sheet none of them wdve started anyway......other than the two suspended.

The trouble these days is there is no actual summer break.stop end of may...start in June

Didn’t this happen last year though?

They're contracted step 3 semi pro footballers, not a St Pirans player. They should know the levels of commitment and what is expected of them.

That was not a great interview, the things said should probably have been kept in house. Can only think he's saying this to try and get a reaction. This seems to be a regular occurrence though for Parkway that players are away and unavailable, and has happened several times already in both the pre season and season proper. Somebody must be given them the nod and saying it's OK (this should be the exclusive responsibility of Lee Hobbs, the manager) in which case he can't point the finger at them. If he doesn't have any sort of knowledge or notice of them being missing, it does make you wonder who is running things. Be interesting to see if the absentees, Jones, Wilson and Wright, come straight back into the side on Tues away to Brixham in the St Lukes, or if there are further sanctions against them.

FA Trophy 1st Qualifying Round

Malvern Town 2 - 4 Mousehole

0-1 Jack Bray-Evans 31 mins, 0-2 Hayden Turner 48 mins, 1-2 Jack Watts (pen) 53 mins, 2-2 Jordan Annear 60 mins, 2-3 Luke Payne (OG) 81 mins, 2-4 Josh Bissett 90+5 mins [attendance 298]

Another game of two halves for Mousehole with The Seagulls dominating the 1st half but with only Jack Bray-Evans’s clinical strike to show for it. We then added a second just a couple of minutes into the 2nd half through Hayden Turner when the whole Malvern defence stood like statues watching each other as he strolled through to goal.

But after that it was the Malvern show. Jack Watts made no mistake after Malvern were awarded an undeniable penalty for a push in the box on 53 minutes, then Jordan Annear scored a belter from the edge of the penalty area on the hour mark.

Malvern continued to have all the pressure and all of the chances for the next 20 minutes but the whole game changed with the clock on 81 when Luke Payne turned a cross into his own net when there wasn’t a Mousehole player near him.

Sadly for Malvern and for Payne football matches are won and lost in moments like that, and Malvern were unable to find another equaliser in the closing stages. Right at the end Mousehole had two great chances on the break. First Hayden Turner narrowly shot wide when through one on one, then just seconds later Josh Bissett also found himself one on one and scored.

A fantastic result for Mousehole who now face Tavistock at home in the next round, but the football gods were definitely smiling down on us yesterday. And a positive word for referee Luke Bowles who had a flawless game.

I doubt Jones is contracted and wouldnt have even expected to be at Parkway when he booked a holiday maybe 6 months ago.......Wilson wdntve expected to be at Parkway either but I would expect  Wright to have kept the season free being a regular higher level player.

It all a bit off  really. And more deflection of blame onto the players 1 of which is only very young so I don’t understand it really

let’s be honest only lane and crago would have started and both picked up stupid sending offs,   And I’m sure Wilson and jones would have said At beginning of the season  we will miss this week due to holidays . Even wright only just joined who to say he didn’t already have a pre planned holiday before.
if your that bothered about the players  commitment maybe make them all full time players.
Suggesting they all happy to miss a weeks pay is also an odd comment. Maybe sometimes family comes before anything even footy.
