Expect to see a Truro 'reserve' team take the field for this one. In the past couple of seasons they have shown little interest in progressing in the Cup Instead choosing to concentrate on the league.

Surely we need the money? Its a winnable tie as WSM seem to have struggled in the last 3-4 weeks after winning their first 3 games. However, we're not coming into that tie as favourites, when you look at who we could have drawn this is about as tough as it could have been without "massive" gate receipts like a nice away tie at Yeovil for example

Understand about the money, but it comes down to what Paul Wotton's objectives are. Last season it was promotion, this season it's ensuring they are playing step 2 football in the new ground. He has got a small squad to work with, and nothing like the budget of teams around him (several of which are full time). It's down to him as to how he uses these resources.

Know it's a sunny day in September, but dare I mention the Bolitho Park pitch as well. Even with Truro's early exit from both the FA Cup and Trophy last season, we ended up with an almighty fixture pile up last April between them and Parkway. And there's an extra 2 home league matches this time around.

That is very true. But a good cup run to R1 could raise more money that Tricky Dickie's share 'offer'  Conversely, a tough ask at WSM with strongest side available. I think Wotton has earned the right to juggle things as he sees fit. Step 2 football vital to return to Truro with.
