One of the best for sure . Drumming Nutter, Thecupfootballblogger and MattP

Grassrootsgary
Doms 7 Altarnun 1 For the first time since September we have now played the same number of games as Saltash Borough and after adding three points yesterday afternoon the table is starting to take its final shape. We sit one point behind, with both having two games remaining. The visitors arrived depleted in numbers and in a league position that couldn’t change regardless of their final two results. They sat men behind the ball from the off which meant we had to be patient in our build up to break them down. Kieran Prescott put us one to the good after being slipped through. The advantage was doubled when Toby Morgan was afforded the space to turn and poke the ball in. Prescott’s second came before the break in similar vein to the first, being slipped through on the edge of the box and side footing in. After the break we extended the lead when Morgan cut in off the left and fired in off the post. Harvey Barrett then notched his 20th goal of the season heading in a corner to put us five to the good. A penalty was then awarded for handball and that allowed Morgan the opportunity to convert for his hat trick. Our scoring was completed when Callum Brown headed in for the seventh, there was time for the visitors to get a consolation when a free kick wasn’t cleared in the box and it fell to an Altarnun player to finish. MOTM went to Morgan for his hat trick.

Even from the East of the county having only been refereed by George 5-6 times in my career he stands out as an absolute gent and a real football man. Thanks for everything George, enjoy the break
