The worse thing about players getting money is some actually think they r better than what they actually r n try to hold clubs to ransom.

If this is the correct situation, then the question that should be asked is whether the club officials that pay out substantial fees to win a silver plate cup at the risk of the very existence of their team, and of the teams that can't afford or decide not to pay such fees, are those officials the guilty ones for the state of Cornish Football.
If you look at the state of the professional game since Jimmy Hills intervention on the wage structure, in my humble opinion our top pro teams are owned by billionaires who try to buy success at any price.
This attitude filters right down the system as the way to win and football is treated as a business rather than a sport.

It is purely a supply and demand issue. There are a finite number of top quality footballers in the area and the majority of them will go to the highest bidder or the most successful clubs. Very often the successful clubs are the highest bidders but not always. (Wendron)

As long as there are people or clubs with some disposable income, there will be offers made for the best players to gain an edge for the club in question.

Wendron have been quoted by quite a few forum contributers as a prime example of a well run club whose officials have clearly stated that they do not pay their players, which in turn proves the point that there is no need to risk the future of your club to do well.
There have been clubs in the Peninsula league who have had to resort to crowdfunding to do necessary running repairs.
Some of the clubs that we have visited don't have a lot to offer on the football pitch, but put some of the so called big boys to shame with the facilities they have to offer.
It's been said that clubs can't afford the grants on offer from the F.A. because of the contribution they need to make to the total cost of their scheme.
How then do the other clubs manage, I love the mantra of one club secretary who said we haven't got a Rolls Royce because we couldn't afford to run it, and we apply the same train of thought to the running cost our players .
