WendronOfficial
Are the entrance fees for spectators a fixed price for the cup semi? If so, what is that? Thanks

Glen Patterson
Mullion 2-2 Penryn A decent game played on a glorious day down at Mullion. We (Penryn) had 17 available on Friday so 2 of our players went with the 1st team to play in their swpl game vs St Austell, things didn't go to plan though when 1 of our players couldn't get out of work & another went for a beer on Friday night & forgot to go to sleep, which left us with 13 men. Mullion looked up for it & clearly wanted revenge after Penryn put 6 past them on Sunday to knock them out of the cup at the semi final stage. They started the better & enjoyed the lion's share of possession, their left winger looking dangerous every time he got the ball. Mullion took a deserved lead mid way through the half when their striker got on the end of a 50 yard ball over the top & neatly lobbed the ball over Craig Allen in the Ryn goal. They had some good chances to double the lead but Allen made some fantastic saves, including a acrobatic, reaction save after a corner looked like it had been headed into the top corner. As the half went on Penryn started to play a bit & got an equaliser that we probably didn't deserve after some good link up play from Linto, with Liam Dent eventually playing in Steve Brewer who fired his strike across the keeper. Ht 1-1 Ryn skipper Glen Jeffery came off at half time after picking up an injury early on which he couldn't run off. With Steve Brewer also picking up a back injury & coming off it meant we were down to bare 11 & ended up playing the 2nd half with players playing out of position, including 2 centre mids both playing full back, a left back playing centre back, a striker playing holding midfield. Oddly we actually played far better after the break & went 2-1 up when Jason Roberts was set up by Liam Dent & took his chance well giving the keeper no chance. Ryn missed a few more chances & mullion made some good blocks & saves at vital times, but they were also dangerous on the counter. They got their equaliser late in the game when their big cm got to a long free kick ahead of the Penryn keeper to head home. The last 10 minutes was frantic, with both teams searching for the winner, some Penryn players were constantly arguing with eachother & also the opposition which was pretty embarrassing to tell the truth. The game ended 2-2, I'd say both teams would feel it's a game they would have won on another day, but I think a draw was fair. The game was reffed well by Anita Gittins, controlled the game well & I don't remember her getting anything wrong.
