St Newlyn East AFC Posted March 6, 2022 Report Share Posted March 6, 2022 St Minver 1-0 St Newlyn East Both sides couldn’t be separated and both teams rued missed chances in the first half. The St Minver keeper did well to tip a header from Newlyn’s returning Lucas Moses over the bar. St Minver hit the post early in the second half and the home side’s goalie then produced an absolute worldie of a save to dive low to his right to tip a goal bound header from Newlyn’s MoM Owen London around the post. The one, scrappy goal that separated the two sides came on 75 mins when a soft shot at the far post found it’s way to the goal. We felt we did enough and should have at least come away with a point but the performance was back to where we want to be after we let ourselves down in our last game at Altarnun.
