What is the feeling in ECPL circles about what Mount Gould brought to the league. Did they improve it, or did their squad made up of former Peninsula  players (and steamrollering the opposition most weeks) spoil the league as a contest?

It gave other clubs with young players the chance to come up against a good side and group of players and something to aim for. Mount gold set about winning the league and did can’t knock them for that.

They joined the ECPL for a challenge. Playing the Reserve teams of the SWPL. The season they joined, the majority of the Reserves team moved on with the restructuring of the leagues. So basically it was one way traffic with the odd blip.
They have now moved onto the Devon League which they should do very well. The best of luck to them.
This season the ECPL should now be more competitive

Ummm. Agreed they were a different level to every other team but they never actually won the league…🤔🤔🤔
