If a player is suspended from playing by CCFA in the new St Pirans League does this also apply to him playing in the SWPL until the suspension in St Pirans has been served? Wasn’t sure if the different level would allow him to still play….

Just seen Saturdays Foxhole v Roche is already down as a ‘home win’! Anyone know the reason why? This will be the 3rd game the champions have been awarded this season which is a shame as am sure Foxhole would rather have played these games than other teams just taking the easy option…..

Think Dave is right. Despite winning the “easiest league ever” (bit insulting to the other clubs) Foxhole will still be in the same division next season is my understanding as they haven’t applied for promotion.

And St Minver had Wadebridge Town’s Matt Lloyd starting for them. Guess both teams will say they were short and simply had to start them ahead of their regular players that were left on the bench or they “just wanted to play with their mates” 🤷🏼🤣🤷🏼🤣🤷🏼

Anyone know why Foxhole and St Dennis still have to play each other at Foxhole but neither team are playing on Saturday and Govarseth has no game on it. Seems crazy when Foxhole are so far behind that they don’t have a fixture on a Saturday. They play each other twice in the space of 3 days soon…. Sure there’s a sensible reason??????

Luke Cloke is on a par with clubs he’s signed for this season!!!! Torpoint - western League, St Blazey SWPL, Polperro St Pirans, St Blazey Res ECPL and Mt Gould too…

Seems there’s quite a few clubs using higher league players atm. Am sure it will only get worse as SWPL games finish and not just within the same club thanks to multi club signings which makes a bit of a mockery of the league places. Torpoint benefitting from a couple of Western League players recently as a prime example!!!

Not doubting Joe is a talent but he’s been involved in every Bodmin SWPL game since December so hardly needs ‘game time’ now. Scored recently against Nanpean and a hatrick against St Newlyn on Saturday - both when Bodmin didn’t have a game. The “one umbrella” model is a good thing imo. Know others will disagree.

Be interesting to see how clubs handle any new rules next season regarding dual registrations.

Problem is at this level teams will use players from other higher clubs just to get a result. Bodmin 1sts have no game tonight so expect Joe Munday to play again…

Won’t St Dennis get punished with a further points deduction for not fulfilling their game away at North Petherwin on top of the earlier one at Liskeard though?

Lol! Jack Scott not played since October, Josh Burnell moved away and Dan Ball been travelling abroad (and still abroad) since before Xmas. Hardly 3 players you could say were “unexpected” absentees…

Getting a bit tasty on here! Glad to see the previous comment from Byron10 was taken down but I’’m def making my way down to St Columb for the fireworks that the cup semi vs Torpoint looks likely to produce….

Whilst it’s very sad that the club has folded - unfortunately along with a growing number of many others this season - I must be the only one who finds it strange that within 24 hours of pulling out of the SWPL they are talking about how they will be back next season at a level their “facilities” allow - seemingly wanting to bypass and jump ahead of all clubs who have to start/restart at the bottom.

Thought you could only postpone a game on the morning of the match unless the League invoked special extreme weather protocols? Happy to be told this is wrong…..
