Guest Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Why have we got two headings for the Evely Cup final. Already posted on 26th April. Wake up Deacon cant have it both ways.
Guest Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Why have we got two headings for the same competition.
Martin McHugh Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Why has it been changed from Liskeard? MQx
bighairydave Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 ECPL you can't have it both ways!! Mr Deacon probably started a new thread as CTBs are usually for results, not pre-match chat!
Dave Deacon Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Good spot ECPL - I did look before posting but couldn't see anything. However, now merged the two for you. Looking forward to discussing things face to face with you on Sunday. As for predictions - having watched Torpoint in their final, I have to say that it'll take a good side to beat them. Especially impressed with Applegate.
Dave Deacon Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Why has it been changed from Liskeard? MQx I understand the Final was postponed because Torpoint Athletic Reserves had already booked a week-end away. As for the venue being different, this was because Liskeard had booked contractors to work on their pitch and were unable to postpone them.
Martin McHugh Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 You should come and join our committee Dave, you are the font of all knowledge !!! MQx
unitedrhino Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Just like to say that Nanpean Rovers pitch is in outstanding condition at present and we hope both Torpoint and St Day will enjoy playing on it.
Guest cescfab_4 Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Looking forward to another Torpoint cup final. I agree with Dave, Ben Applegate has been superb all season. Torpoint seem to have a side of match winners at the moment. Their front 3 of Sam West, Liam Thornton and the aforementioned Applegate will strike fear into any defence. Come on Torpoint!!
Willser ! Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Is this the 1st time Torpoint have played in the Evely cup final in recent times due to 8 times runner-up in the League Cup?
Mike Odgers Posted May 15, 2014 Report Posted May 15, 2014 Join the club say Benfica, (8 straight defeats in European Cup Finals)
