The watcherr Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Predictions on this one? Should be a good game to finish off the season for both clubs. Parkway winning the league last night and St Austell winning the Cornwall senior cup. 3 o'clock kick off at Coach road in Newton abbot.
rocky170267 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 4-1 parkway. The boys are on a roll now with 3 great strikers on form ! Should be another great game and hoping for a dry day
THE BALD ONE Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 2_1 Parkway . Gutted for Gav if he misses both finals as well last nights game. Strenght and depth in the squad will see us through tomorrow. St Austell will be no push over though. Cmon Parkway.
Gripper Stebson Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Why is this final being played at a non SWPL ground ?
rocky170267 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Wondering if all 7 coaches are full yet from Parkway or should I ask for a ride in Snoozles Tractor trailer !!!
Gripper Stebson Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Wondering if all 7 coaches are full yet from Parkway or should I ask for a ride in Snoozles Tractor trailer !!! Letting the choo choo take the strain. Heading for the Ye Olde Cider Bar which I believe is a ten minute walk from the ground ? Been warned I may not make it out though ?
SuperCooper Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Wondering if all 7 coaches are full yet from Parkway or should I ask for a ride in Snoozles Tractor trailer !!! Haha no room on our bus!!! I can see if someone has pulled out of the TRAIN we have filled if you like rocky!!! See you tomorrow!!!!
rocky170267 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Its gonna be a corker !!!! Heard ur keeper may be unavailable ???? Any truth in that ??
V J Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Yeah no goalkeeper no strikers no mid-field and defenders doubtful but will give the devon bays a game||||
rocky170267 Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 I was being serious but ok.... fair enough. Obviously you don't know.
Brianmooreshead Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Gripper I'm being deadly serious here If you want to enjoy the game - Be careful in the Cider Bar !!!
midlandlilywhite Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Why is this final being played at a non SWPL ground ? Obviously it had to be at a neutral ground but apart from that - beats me ! I believe it has something to do with the sponsors Throgmorton wanting it played on a local ground to them.
BIG AL Posted May 10, 2014 Report Posted May 10, 2014 Typical swpl officials - the further away a match can be played for travelling supporters the better they seem to like it !
rocky170267 Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Matchday 07:43 ! Why can't I just have a lay in ...... oh yesssss .... Because its CUP FINAL DAY !!! Good luck to all from both clubs. Lets have a fantastic day in newton Abbot !!! # BUZZIN
margo Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Currently 0-0 (20 mins into 2nd half) Spoke too soon! Landricombe scores 1-0 Parkway (71 mins)
margo Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Stringer scores penalty 2-0 Red card for Giles FT: 2-0 Parkway
Ian Pethick Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Parkway 2 St Austell 0 ( Levi Landricombe , Will Stringer pen. ) ( HT 0-0 ) Two down , and one to go in the trophy stakes for Parkway . Tight first half with precious few opportunities in a first half that looked a bit of an end of season affair ,and a second half that proceeded in the same manner with extra time looking a decent possibility, came to life towards the end when Will Stringer strode out of defence like a tall ship in full sail to set up Levi Landricombe for a right footed finish and his 59th of the season . The victory was sealed shortly afterwards when Man Of The Match Stringer sent Jason Chapman the wrong way from the spot , this followed an amusing interlude when the referee appeared to show a red card to Chapman , when it was actually Martin Giles who had tripped Adam Carter and prevented the goalscoring opportunity .
THE BALD ONE Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Like a tall ship lmao. A closely contested game , not much between the two sides . I think man of the match Will Stringer is probably the best player who uses both feet (when kicking the ball ) in the league. Get in there shitter . Another well done to Wayne and Lee. Onto Tuesday lads. Cmon Parkway.
Tony Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Nothing in it for 70 minutes and first goal always looked like winning it. Well done Parkway - great crac with their lads during and after game. MOM Will Stringer top bloke. Popple for Town immense yet again.
leedsunited Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Amazing achievment for parkway after alot of big games in such a short space of time. Must of took it out of them fridays evenings game against saltash. Congratulations wayne.
best Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Well done Parkway! Great season, any ambition on moving up like Exmouth? Or will you continue to be a big fish in a small pond!!
