L.Ricks9 Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 St Dennis 4-2 Vospers Saints goals : Lee Ricks (2) Mark Rowe Adam Gamble Vospers very good side, we played to our strengths today defended well in the last 25 and got a well deserved 3 points.
dan_peters1 Posted May 5, 2014 Report Posted May 5, 2014 Dobwalls 2-3 Truro city Scott palmer liam eddy (2) dobwalls didnt stop for the full 90. we went 1-0 up after 10 minutes with a scott palmer free kick, dobwalls then equalised with a penalty and then went in at half time 2-1 up. we came out strong in the second half and drew level 2 minutes after the restart. we played some nice football and we deserved are goal 4 minutes from time.
leedsunited Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 Highest bodmin can now finish is now 5th, a big home win tomorrow evening by 7 goals would see overtake witheridge with them going to godolphin on saturday with the winner claiming 4th spot. All eyes on saltash, with parkway playing their cup final on sunday maybe saltash might pinch a win friday evening at bolitho park.
baldy Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 Must be a while since they weren't top Cornish dogs but, hey, the times they are a changing?

leedsunited Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Can we get last years table up dave, interested to see how it looks to this seasons..
leedsunited Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Remember that season well 06/07 what a finish!
Mike Odgers Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 As that table stands Porthleven should have taken acceptance into the SW Peninsula Premier Division and Falmouth Town into the division 1 West. Why didnt Porthleven take the challenge? The Peninsula League was formed (2007-08) with the top half of the South Western League and Devon county League forming the top division and the lower half the Division 1 East/West
Crusty Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 It was the top 10, so Falmouth would of made the peninsula prem anyhow, it was torpoint who got thrown the lifeline after an unbeaten end to the season they sneaked 11th.
Mike Odgers Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 If Plymouth Argyle and Porthleven accepted both Falmouth and Torpoint would not have been in the Premier DivisionThe First(2007-08)season saw 9 SWL clubs and 9 Devon County clubs whiched formed the Premier Division
leedsunited Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Can we get last seasons table up dave. Im sure this season has seen better finishes for the devon clubs in comparison to last season
Dave Deacon Posted May 7, 2014 Author Report Posted May 7, 2014 As that table stands Porthleven should have taken acceptance into the SW Peninsula Premier Division and Falmouth Town into the division 1 West. Why didnt Porthleven take the challenge? The Peninsula League was formed (2007-08) with the top half of the South Western League and Devon county League forming the top division and the lower half the Division 1 East/West Mike, was it because they didn't want to join the Premier Division? Remember they declined going up the season after didn't they I think. Even though in the running for promotion for a large part of the first season of SWPL and ending up South West Peninsula League Division One West runners-up.
V J Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 MY my leedsunited how your aim's change from week to week, best team in cornwall, second best team in cornwall, 5th, 6th might be 7th and may be 4th best team in cornwall if St Austell catch you. One thing is you might be best team in Bodmin!! and I think the vet's might have a say in that.
