Sorry sunny jim, had to take the kids trick or treating!!! :D

Well, ive somin to chew on tonight other than another defeat!!!

Having played alot of the top sides now I think Tavi have been the best. They look good going forward and very strong at the back. Itll be intresting to see Saltash at home on wednesday but id put a few quid on Tavi winning it. Lot of expierence with Andy in goal to.

Bex Rix back today but no natural wingers and we look like we have nothing else to unlock a good defence.

Long way to go yet so cant give up.

I believe Dan is somewhere in London translating for foreign students!! :D

Did you enjoy the Blazey expierence??

i did :D and i enjoyed the comments all game from the old guy sat about 10 yards up the line :D Bless his cotton socks :P and i did go in the bar for 1 or 2 or maybe 4 or 5 drinks :drink: its good to support clubs and with the Arsenal mashing spuds and Liverpool losing (the ref and other lineo where Liverpool fans) i was in a very good mood, :clapper:

Is it true or not that the FA have deducted 10 points from each team because of this predicament? it is a straight forward question. can anyone answer this?

Route to Witheridge:

Cross Country is pretty.

Motor way back was quite fast but really much of a muchness.

Quite how they sustain a team at this level with attendances like theirs is a mystery. Having said that they are a very hospitable and friendly club.

Fiery Jack are attendances are no where near the worst in this league and as regular supporters of other clubs in this league will tell you we bring a fair few away with us also.

How do we sustain a team at this level???? the same as Blazey and every other team in this league sustain their team at this level with hard work and commitment.

Look at the attendances on the offical league website and you will see their are 6 teams with lower average attendance than us, does that mean how they sustain a team at this level is a mystery to you also?????

Witheridge Football Club are where they are because they have worked hard and deserve to be playing in this league period!!!!!

The CCFA hearing has not yet taken place so I can't see how or why points would have been deducted. Would the CCFA have the authority to deduct points, surely thats a matter for SWPL ?.

you can't always believe the rumours, but nobody knows this is true? if it is true that newquay has been deducted 10 points then thats not fair (if the FA decide this then i think you have to take some responsibility because of some of your own actions)

What nothing from The Blazey Boys?

Only sing when your winning??????? :P:P;);)

That's pretty funny coming from from a Parkway fan. We would sing if we were in Duchy 4 - you didn't even sing following the greatest result in the history of your club (a win against us in the Vase).

And no, I don't wish to discuss football at the moment.

There is a statement issued by Barry Cudmore, County Secretary about the St Austell v Newquay fixture on Saturday 17th October 2009, on the CCFA website dated 23rd October 2009, The statement is repeated below.

"After considering reports received concerning the above match, AFC St Austell players Lee Whetter and Ben Douglas have been charged with Misconduct and have 14 days to respond, Due to the serious nature of the alleged offences both players have been suspended with immediate effect. Both clubs have been charged with Misconduct and also have 14 days to respond. A further statement will be issued following a Disciplinary Hearing which will take place after responces are received".

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is a pity reference to the incident keeps being brought onto so many threads (simmering the pot). In view of the CCFA statement the matter should be a taboo subject until the CCFA brings the matter to a conclusion, I hope the statement repeated above helps to calm things, it will be some time before there is news of the outcome.

Maybe now. rumours will cease about points deduction etc. until the matter is finalised by the Football Authorities.

There is a statement on the Carlsberg South West Peninsula site......... basically, investigations and charges are still being carried out / made before deciding if further action is warranted.

Guest Peppermint

Whilst not wanting to add anything to the issue because as Mountaineer rightly states it is a subject that will be dealt with by the County FA and then by the CSWPL Management. It is certainly not in anyway correct that Newquay or St Austell have been deducted points - it is a pity that Forum users like kizen do not just allow the matter to be dealt with first and then comment afterwards. Anyone can seemingly come on here and post any old rubbish and unfortunately it does nothing to help matters.

Let's just leave it to the authorities and then no doubt we will have opinions on the rights and wrongs of any verdicts by the County FA and/or the CSWPL.

On a lighter note I can confirm that Anita did consume a number of drinks in the bar after the match - I am not at liberty to divulge how many.

You could also say that if the Judge had answered the Kozen question straight, no further posts would have been necessary! :D

Put that big spoon away Dave, the original question was about points dropped, I provided the poster with the correct figures. The rest of my answer is summed up nicely by Peppermint.
