Would you play us Mousehole Development at our s Trungle, let down last minute -
We played in same league as your reserves last season with Falmouth United and they were a very capable team, certainly hold their own in the combo. Shame but your only side now would be a very competitive one I’d imagine. Good luck for the future, although we’ve stepped away from Falmouth now I’ve played many games at Holmans over the years and decent pitch and nice clubhouse. Glad changing rooms having makeover 😂😂👍

Div 2 League Cup Semi-Final Falmouth DC 0-3 Falmouth United Not the best game of football from either side, in the spells where we clicked the goals came but DC were stubborn as we knew they would be and pushed us all the way, their league position isn’t a fair reflection on their football. 2 up in 10 minutes, free kick from Jack Symons and Jack Froud rounding the keeper, after that it was a pretty poor game, quite even until final 15, superb ball from Jack Symons brilliantly controlled and finished by Connor Hurrell. Connor spurned a late chance to make it 4-0 but that would have really flattered us. Job done, final to look forward to against New Inn Titans or Wendron, good luck to both next weekend 👍

Falmouth United 1st 3-0 St Ives town Res good result against a spirited young St Ives team, we were under strength and not at our best but it was nice to play against a team that wanted to play football from start to finish, think the score line flattered us in the end as St Ives deserved something for their efforts. Good luck to St Ives for the future ( cup aside lol ) nice bunch of lads, also congratulations to New Inn Titans on the league title football is about results and they’ve won on Merritt . No point on looking back at points we ve dropped as you’d drive yourself mad but massive we’ll done to our lads on their last minute goal to make it 3-0 and I believe 100 league goals for the season which is impressive in 20 games. Roll on the cup and a nice friendly game against Threemilestone 😂😂😂

Falmouth United 4 - 0 Threemilestone Res Where to start, slow start from Falmouth took us 30 mins to start playing our football in which time Chris Shakley or Matt Mcilroy could have easily put them in front. We grew into the game and with Big Barn marshalling the back line and the midfield starting to klick we grew into the game and after going in 1-0 up at HT we totally dominated the second half and could have and possibly should have scored a lot more. Majority of the Threemilestone players were good as gold, some decent players but the manager was absolute disgrace. He was sent of in the end I don’t even know what for at that point but then started slating the Falmouth management saying how we were a good team, managed Badly by shit managers 😂😂, he even said he would knock one out ( he was sooooooo scary 😂😂😂😂) . The very same manager that slated the morals of the Falmouth team got sent off, pushed the ref, swore at the ref and then stuck his finger up to the ref, THEN sat on the bench laughing and bragging how he went through the back of our 18 year old who had done nothing 2 footed to hurt him. ( all loudly enough so the Falmouth bench could hear !!! ). Threemilstone supporter actually apologised and left early because of this. Football should be more fun than this lol but we take each game as it comes. Good luck to Threemilestone , shame about the Scum managing them hopefully they ll get an upgrade next season 👍

Falmouth United 1st 1-1 New Inn Titans Good game of football played in good spirits, both teams pressed for winner until the very end, New inn a very good team but we’re lucky to take the point in the end in most of the spectators opinions and ours but congratulations to new inn on all but securing the league with that result 👍. Falmouth started brightly and scored on n first 20 through Connor Hurrell only for a very very dubious linesman decision to rule out a clearly onside goal. The game was end to end but then a moment of brilliance but Scott Rodden put MOTM Jack Froud in for the goal 1-0 HT The ref acknowledged the dubious linesman decisions and HT and second half seemed a lot better, New Inn came out fired up and within 5-10 mins it was 1-1 from our Achilles heel a lofted free kick ( could have easily been a corner still same problem for out vertically challenged team 😂) We feared the worst as New inn on top but slowly and surely we grew again and let the football do the talking and maybe could have or should have grabbed a winner but not to be. We had few players missing and few injured but the lads from the reserves showed why as a club we are doing so well in both leagues, Barny who stepped in due to a lack of CBs was quality as ever and a great role model to the youngsters. like I said big congrats from Falmouth to New inn, stats don’t lie only dropped 4 points this season and that’s how you win a league, happily we stopped Johnny Jones ( strong as a f””king ox ) from scoring so Jack Froud stays top and Connor joint second so every cloud 😂😂😂😂. Worried about our youngsters before game due to New inn being physically strong team but they were there to play football which was great to see. also very well reffed 👍

Before you read a completely biased one sided match report and judge you should really hear both sides 👍. St just can’t complain about any cards or sending off ( apart from the red for the dive which was a pen ). Looked into the gesture the Falmouth lad did and it is indeed a red by law so fair play ref even if seems harsh. The elbow was exactly that and the torrent of abuse the player gave the ref afterwards should lead to a longer ban by law. Tempers flared at full time and that was regrettable agreed, elbow aside there was nt anything nasty at all. The most disgusting point of the day which will be reported to the FA was the shouting comment made by the injured st just player repeatedly at the end which I’m not going to go into on here, that’s something for st just to contact Falmouth about. 3 16 year olds played 80 mins yesterday and arguably looked the best players on the pitch so Falmouth youth setup is doing something right.
